9/22/2011: If Sundial of the Infinite's ability is activated before the end step, any "at the beginning of the end step"-triggered abilities won't get the chance to trigger that turn because the end step is skipped. Those abilities will trigger at the beginning of the end step of the next turn. The same is true of abilities that trigger at the beginning of other phases or steps (except upkeep).
Have you given Grip of Chaos a try at all. Most of the effects this deck runs are targeting all players so they are not eligible for the randomness of Grip. Will also make opponents second guess every thing they cast / trigger.
Hive Mind has a second nasty feature in your deck if you are running any of the Pacts, if your opponent is not in the colors or is tapped out a Pact thrown into that enchantment will kill people.
Why does it keep coming back to vs. RAMP SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!?
I think we on the side of more cards = good thing have argued that MLD is used as a way to stop people from using mana for EVERY SINGLE RESPONSE CARD IN THEIR DECK
If I want to float a ton of mana blow up the lands so the person holding the counterspell can not play it MLD works there, if I want to blow up the Boros players mana so he can not combat trick me to death or wrath next turn into my board state.
Sure I guess I don't want the green player playing more huge threats but if the green player is already in dropping bombs mode MLD isn't my most useful play.
why is such a big deal for you winning before turn 9? and if it is, why you are playing a 40 life format instead of vintage, legacy, modern or standard? playing these formats you can always win faster than turn 9, you know?
Why does more life mean the game should automatically go on longer? It is a format that fundamentally pulls from the entire history and card base in magic, to assume that every deck is going to play the same or want to win in the same way is incredibly foolish.
Pitch wheels into the eye and then no matter what your opponents play Wheels will go off as long as Storm is in play Wheels will continue to happen.
Sigil Tracer
Supreme Inquisitor
Raven Guild Master (getting a kicked Rites on him is so much fun)

I love this card because it isn't your creatures have vigilance, or untap your creatures so it completely messes with your opponents heads.
