Rituals are all +1 mana with commander out which I have a feeling with smooth things out considerably if it works.
The interaction between Echo of Eons and Pull from Eternity is very cute especially where Echo is the cheapest to cast from.

Meh. I think Yidris is much better for that role. Golos seems totally wasted for an egg archetype. It's like Narset. Huge potential for huge spells.
Narset is limited to number of times you can swing so I agree she only makes sense for big splash or synergistic spells, Golos ain't limited like that.
Also there are so many amazing white cards or cards that require white in this list.

A 5C Commander is being printed that works exceptionally well with Eggs and not just a creature you are largely just running as a Placeholder for all 5 colors, the Pilgrim has arrived.
I have made 4 color and 3 color eggs of various varieties but it always felt bad because of how the egg colors are spread out. And I never went into build a janky Atog deck just to run all the eggs around a Commander who isn't really relevant to anything.
Golos on the other hand is a good place to put all the eggcelent mana that this deck makes, and his ETB is just gravy that find what is needed even an EGG!
Here is the List:
Now making this kind of deck 5 colors especially with all the newer printed toys that really make this kind of deck really accelerate out of control.
In terms of MTG Bomberman refers to the interaction between Auriok Salvagers and Lion's Eye Diamond and any artifact that costs 1 mana or less and sacrifices to draw card (your proverbial egg). You make infinite Mana with the LED and then draw until you find a win with your egg, sometimes the kill is also the egg in the case of Pyrite Spellbomb, not running Walking Ballista here because it is a bad egg that does not draw cards.
Bolas's Citadel is one of the spiciest cards printed in recent sets and it pairs really nicely with a deck full to the brim with 1 - 2 drops mostly. Combine it with Aetherflux Reservoir and it most likely is lethal, combine that with Sensei's Divining Top and it is a guarantee, Children of Korlis further smooths that out if the Reservoir is far away and new storm card Weather the Storm is one I have wanted to see how effective it will be for a while and now a Five Color deck has arrived.
Sai, Master Thopterist
Saheeli, Sublime Artificer
Make casting eggs into an army.
Sword of the Meek
Make an army and a lot of life in a box.
Both of these groups (except for Mentor) work very well with Ghirapur AEther Grid which can grind out some games.
This deck is a mess of 1 drops that draw cards that make mana, tutor effects, draw effects and win conditions how do I possibly survive you might ask.
Silence is the ultimate one of these, the other two require a bit more finesse and knowledge about your opponents and their decks to utilize correctly, but when properly utilized can free the game up on the turn where it counts the most.
The classic Artifact to defend artifact combo and your storm against their removal and counters also does wonders here.
Teferi, Time Raveler
No one can do anything on your turn, he can remove problematic things like Stony Silence for example, and he can plus and allow the casting of wheels and other things on end step, all for 3 mana.
Padeem, Consul of Innovation
Now Padeem can't stop counterspells, however what he can do is protect things like Citadels so that if they counter a spell, the spells continue to flow. Getting a draw out of him isn't completely out of the realms of possibility.
This deck empties its hand quickly so it needs ways to fill it back up, thankfully effects like this exist to do just that.
Wheel of Fortune
Echo of Eons
A lot of these cards have other interesting synergies, from untapping lands to being a permanent that can be recurred and searched for like any egg, to Echo which plays so nicely with LED, I am missing the big mass draw effect but that price tag is a big no thank you from me.
Anyway that is the deck largely, I don't like the expensive mass reanimate of artifacts in a deck like this because so much of the artifacts in it are junk that those spells always seem very win-more.
The trickiest balance is the lands and I hope to get to play this list soon to see how the balance I have here does.
Thanks for taking a look.
Jun 22, 2019This thread was made exactly a month after the card was printed and it has been doing more or less the same thing every since then, I just don't see it an also I rarely see people groan when it gets cast.Posted in: Commander Rules Discussion Forum
Jun 21, 2019It is weird but for cards like this the longer they stay unbanned the less I want them banned because of how price fluctuates irt to Commander and cards that are largely only played in this format.Posted in: Commander Rules Discussion Forum
Especially in the case of Engine because it was doing this same ***** since the day it was printed, I have valiantly whenever I have built it designed the deck to go very smoothly once it resolves, mostly work.
Jun 21, 2019I would probably play this guy in a hatebear stylePosted in: Commander (EDH)
Both Thalia's, Gaddock, Saffi, Anafenza, Kalitas etc etc.
As for land stuff Journey To Eternity usually does work, Kaya, Ghost Assassin seems good for 3 mana, all the Oaths are Legendary too.
Also Fastbond is way banned in this format.

Oh yeah *****
12/7/2018 You lose life after the creature is already on the battlefield. Any abilities it has that interact with loss of life, such as that of Platinum Emperion, apply to that loss of life.
