"Each creature card in your starting deck is a Cat..." Do they retain those additional creature types when they're no longer in your deck? I assume that's the intention but what's the rule to support that?
The companion rule is a requirement, not an addition. Kaheera doesn't make your cards Cats, they require all your creature cards to be cats (or dinosaurs or beasts or whatever) in order to run them as your companion.
