why does the article is entitled "june through august", but the august fnm is not picted nor mentioned?
Well, actually Bile Blight has the collector number 8/12, so it seems that they skipped July promo
Yeah. I noticed this, too. While the "July promo" Bile Blight has the collector number 8/12, the "August promo" Magma Spray has the collector number 7/12...perhaps, the Mothership arcana got them backwards?! Only time will tell, I suppose.
This seems like the old Torment boosters I once found encased with Odyssey theme decks for $29.99: Two Odyssey theme decks, one Torment booster and one Homelands booster. I once found a couple of Lorwyn and Morningtide 2-pack boosters like this, too... Did NOT purchase them a few years back at $14.99 for two packs... in hindsight, I now wish I had.
If these are anything like the 3 random boosters thrown-in with the Big Box Promos (Broodmate Dragon, Knight Exemplar, Sunblast Angel, et al.), I've never personally pulled anything worth value in the rare spot. Only money card I have pulled was a foil Mox Opal, but what are the chances of repeating that feat?!
Apologies, but I'd just like to point out that (ignoring the issue of my name's spelling) any argument about how things were when I ran the number crunch thread seems a bit bizarre, as I've never once run the number crunch thread...
Oi! Bollocks! Erm..must've been the unofficial spoiler thread I use to help out with when I could then..and possibly at other times, I saw you contributing to the number crunch? Idk. I know that I definitely remember you from somewheres!
And apologies for the misspelling of your user handle, my friend. Point being: Whatever thread you use to frequently run was handled adequately, so well done.
You quoted my post post-edit from a moderator. If you had read the post pre-edit, you would've seen my entire message before the mods edited it, which cut my theory (which was correct based on eyesight) regarding Doomwake Giant and Extinguish All Hope.
This is completely rubbish to continue on with this "feud" and your assumptions regarding Sniffoy are exactly that - assumptions. But to be clear, I've always been helpful on this site to correct any errors others have made for the good of the community be whatever those errors may (hence my low post count). I'm on here every day, but only to share yet-to-be posted information or to correct incorrect information. You only drew my ire because you told me to "calm myself", which I regarded as a roundabout way of childishly coming at me (to avoid flaming), but all's good. /end arguement
okay first of all calm yourself it wasn't a week ago it was 3 days. Second I'm not a Mod I check the site when i can often from my phone. Dusk Sorry i missed your post from 11 hours ago and i didn't refresh to catch the recent post.
This is my first time running this thread. And honestly I thought the Mods did edits as well and it wasn't going to be just me. I appreciate the help and corrections but maybe send me a direct message so I can make corrections when i get the notification.
As for Wizards deliberately messing up the span count to throw us off? Why would they bother? Chances are it was still a late error in formatting. we've seen stuff go up days early, isn't it more likely the coder messed up.
Your math is just all-around terrible! Point: My (original) post that I was referencing was on 10 April 2014. Your reply telling me "to calm myself" was made to my post yesterday, 17 April 2014 ... like I said, ONE WEEK AGO! Not "3 days" as you claim. So sod off and learn your flipping maths, please. I told you from the get-go they were incorrect. I have tremendous vision and can read the numbers even on the difficult B and R cards ... next time, I won't help out. Forget it! You're on your own.
Your efforts were appreciated (even gave you a 'thanks') but when you fail to heed advice, can't do simple math, and don't keep up with the site, how about you graciously bow-out and let someone else run the thread, eh?
I remember Sniffoy used to do this - at least he was excellent and heeded advice, otherwise, what's the bloody point!
Please don't attack other people. That's flaming. -TK
As I claimed ONE WEEK AGO: Doomwake Giant at 66 and Extinguish All Hope at 68 ... but I was ignored because of "span-counting" from the Mothership spoiler (which has been off from the beginning).
Note: C'mon guys! Wizards is plenty aware by now that we do this stuff! The entire source code was off from the get-go, why wouldn't Wizards attempt to throw us off?
Some corrections: Master of the Feast is #75 (proof: Wizards article & the Journey into Nyx spoiler) Heroes' Bane back to #126 (it was originally correct) Hydra Broodmaster is #128 (proof: post #110 in PAX East thread by Tackman)
Added notes:
I don't know what to make of Terese Nielsen's "Sheep" at #18. It can neither be "Star Woolen Sheep" nor the Facebook suggested card name "Astral Sheep".
Something is fishy between Doomwake Giant and Extinguish All Hope both appear to be #66 even at max zoom. My guess is that the latter, Extinguish All Hope is actually #68 and Doomwake Giant is indeed #66, thusly, not leaving many cards between the letters Ext and Gnarled Scarhide at #72 -- As is, 5 cards between Ext-Gna seems a bit excessive to me in the colour B; R would be a totally different story because of all possibilities in the letter F: "fiery", "fire", "flame", "forge", "fury", to name a few.
I would die...DIE...for this art to be on her new version!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Though I would understand if they saved this (EPIC, imo) art for her obvious inclusion in Zendikar 2.0 (which we are obviously returning to...I hope in 2015 ), and give us something more generic in M2015.
Let's say Ajani dies, and core sets now have to follow the storyline of the block expansions and everything else. Ajani would be replaced by Elspeth, and Jace, who probably wants to stay in Ravnica, would be replaced by Tamiyo. Garruk is still cursed, so he can't be his iconic mono-green color, and would be replaced with Nissa. Liliana and Chandra stay in their Black and Red thrones respectively.
What do we have? That Motley Crue song.
^ Will go down as the best selling core set of all-time!!!
...Good lord, now I have "Girls, Girls, Girls" stuck in my head...thanks!!
Confirm: Council Guardian, Rousing of Souls, Plea for Power, Split Decision, Reign of the Pit, Selvala's Charge, Cogwork Spy, Misdirection, Exploration, and Decimate.
Correct: Slot #9 is still open for Conspiracies, so slide down both Secrets of Paradise and Sentinel Dispatch.
Extract from Darkness is 45#; Agent of Acquisitions is #54; Rout is #80.

Considering Illusionist's Gambit is number 47, we can conclude that this card name is NOT "Identity Nemesis" seeing as how the card is number 63.
I also do not believe the card name begins with "Nemesis", for we would have FIFTEEN cards twixt IL - NE.
