thanks. I didn't realize it had to be cast before returned from the graveyard, but I should've realized it... also I was wondering if anyone has tried tombstalker?
hopefully in the next few weeks I will be able to acquire all the cards to try a few different builds... Is LED worth the purchase of a playset?
Another thing I pulled akroma's memorial yesterday as well as a 5th agent of bolas out of the 6 packs I bought. Anyways is the akroma too costly? I may just test it and see how often it helps or hinders.
My deck is almost complete. I only need a few more cards I haven't been able to acquire yet: ravager, MoE, springleaf, and the most important plating. I'm going to be splitting pith and revoker in sb with nihil, crypt, relic, meekstone, annul, dispatch, and ethersworn. I have sofaf, sowap, and batterskull, my question is fire and ice or jitte worth it? Any other suggestions are welcome.
Spellskite feels more like something good for control, imo.
I currently run 2 glimmervoids, 2 tombs and 14 artifact lands. (4 Seat, 4 Dens, 3 Citedels and 3 Vaults) I also run 4 Ravagers so I'm considering upping Mox Opal count to 4. I dislike springleaf drums, really. More often than not, I'd rather it be a land or a threat, which it really isn't either. Extra lands are okay for me since Ravager can eat lands if I have spare ones in hand. Springleafs also are a terrible topdeck. They're fine in the opening 7 but in the long run I feel like they underpreform. Maybe its just my playstyle and meta. I've already gone back and forth on the issue and seek no more arguments to defend why springleaf drum should be in the deck. I know why it should, I just don't feel like it preforms to its fullest extent most of the time.
Thats why I'm currently trying to think of ways to accelerate, like how ancient tombs or Mox Opals did.
Would blinkmoth be a better replacement for springleaf drum? I have all the cards from som, mbs, and nph. So Its going to take me a few weeks to get the rest of the older pricier cards. Once the deck is complete I'm taking it to a tournament, After thoroughly practicing. As I have no friends interested I'm hoping to find a decent group locally.
Hi. I'm new to the bored and I hope I'm not breaking ettiquette. I started playing magic about 17 years ago, nothing serious. Now after 10 years I decided to return. I'm interested in building an affinity deck. I was wondering if anyone has tried spellskite and if it was worth trying?
