I really like the mechanic, but these definitely need cost balancing.
Holy Break :2mana::symw:

And just for fun...
Rainbow Justice

If you paid only black mana to cast Rainbow Justice, target player puts the top eight cards of his or her library into his or her graveyard.

If you paid only green mana to cast Rainbow Justice, Target creature gets +6/+6 until end of turn.
Did they decide to take an extremely narrow, rarely printed effect (although admittedly I'm a fan of the effect itself) and somehow make it more narrow?
Did they have a meeting where they decided Mind Bend was too good?
Did they have five minutes to come up with the Dimir rare before the final card file was sent to Carta Mundi and didn't want to take a chance on another Tarmogoyf-like situation?
Do they want people to feel like eating four $1 bills would have literally been a better use of their money?
Mind Bend and similar cards can actually be a cool, unexpected trick because of a single word:
"Instant".
In that word, they find a home. It's a small home, and it's only one bedroom/one bathroom, but it's still a home.
whats the point of defining your P/T when you're indestructible and kill everything with one hit? i mean, i know the corner cases where this matters but its bad design.
Mortal Manifold
Legendary Artifact M
You are an indestructible colorless Human Avatar creature with power and toughness each equal to your life total. (You're still a player.)
Whenever you deal combat damage to a creature or planeswalker, destroy it.
Whenever you deal combat damage to a player, that player loses the game.
If you or Mortal Manifold would leave the battlefield, instead you lose the game.
It needs some fine-tuning development-wise, but given the existence of Gideon Jura, I don't see how this couldn't work.

An absolutely magnificent sci-fi/horror movie. It's on Netflix and I highly recommend it.
This adds nothing to the topic and is spam. Infraction issued. -Xen
It's like something from a 1990's PC adventure game.
Go ahead. Humor me. Tell me it's bad.
Because it's awesome.

Trait Doctoring is a damn eviction notice.
And I like bad rares, too. One With Nothing is actually great in Commander reanimator decks, for example.
But for the life of me, I can't think of a scenario where you would want to play Trait Doctoring.
I'd rather play Evermind.
-1/-1 counters? Tragic Slip?
You leave the battlefield, so you lose the game. It's a replacement effect.
