Its not a huge drop compared to others but at one point Sword of War and Peace was close to $50 and then standard rotated and you can get it for less than $10.
I am making a Planeswalker Commander deck with Doubling Season, Rings of Brighthearth, and wanted to know exactly how these cards would interact.
Example - I use Sarkhan Vol's ultimate with both cards in play, I use Rings of Brightheart to double the effect. Would doubling season double both the original and the copy giving me 20 tokens?
Also if I were to run Parallel Lives then how would I stack the three to maximize tokens?
Either the OP is a troll or an idiot. Of course money is a factor but guess what, its a factor in EVERYTHING! Health care, homes, cars, the food you eat. The money you have reflects the quality in which you live. If you don't make enough money to support your hobbies then find cheaper ones or budget better.
Not to mention your argument is based on being competitive and winning. So again there are several Limited formats which kill your argument about money giving you an advantage because everyone is on the same playing field.
Ultimately I think the advent of limited formats kills the money argument. And if you want to be competitive on a high level (GPs, SCG events, and pro tour) then pay up because the best stuff always cost more. Do Olympians run in Wal-Mart sneakers? Even then you can play in the limited pro events so that further kills the money= competitive argument. Why not save your money on singles and buy the book Next Level Magic instead, it will do more for your game then a playset of Bonfires.
Play draft or sealed long enough you get a good collection going and can trade for the bomb cards you need to make a standard deck. Not to mention the idea that whoever has the most money will win is just straight up wrong. Can constructed decks be costly, yes but it wont make you a better player.
I have a question. How would Reverberate work with Bonfire of the damned? Miracle or otherwise, would I have to pay X cost for just the first one and it gets copied or do I pay X for both?
I am working on a Planeswalker commander deck and Doubling Season is a linchpin card. I want to know what cards let me get is back from my graveyard and also if there are any cards I can use other than counter magic to keep it from getting destroyed?
They've been around for a few months. The newer ones have to promo card facing out, idk why. The ones where you can't see the card are all over the place but they're always foil. Land, promos, old cards. I got a foil Captain Sisay from Invasion once.

At what level of competition? You don't need a money deck to win FNMs.

Thanks for any and all help.
