its amusing to watch everyone complain about a mechanic before when we've only seen one one card with it Its a beat face ability THATS WHAT GRUUL DOES and we've only scratched the surface we have 228 more cards to see! soo why not wait and see before we pass judgement on a potentially awesome mechanic

no "if you do" on the may ability. besides, wordings will change / evolve. getting simpler and simpler. and they have been known to make short cuts to fit longer texts.
this has been discussed many times before but nissa revane, for example, has no art protruding outside the border. so that argument doesn't hold.
maybe a mod should update the first post with this sort of information.

I understand that they must make new and exciting cards so people get playing and keep buying but since when did that mean you should just endlessly make broken or near broken cards and not worry about it

And further more what is with the whole anti counter magic thing honestly? If you really think counter magic is broken is the proper reaction really to just make it useless? Even so Cavern of Souls already made so much of it useless
The uncounterable Cranial Extraction was neat and made sense since it was really just a black card but you added red mana to get the red ability of being uncounterable. This card would be playable without the counter hate and would still be very powerful then I mean Smother isn't unplayable and this is just an insane version of it
On the top of random counter hate whats with the uncounterable wrath? First of all I thought counter hate was a red/green thing not blue or white and again why hate on counters?
Dude chill its a cycle izzet gets one and so does azorius its not counter hate... kinda its just to balance the format so control doesnt constantly win You think this is broken look at the uncommon selesnya 1 drop that shuts down near 6 or 7 decks entirely by itself so if i were you i'd chillax and quit complaining about good cards just because they're not your forte'

Sigh. She's good, but she's not answer-all. She can't for example race Geist, as the angel token just doesn't care about dying. I like the power level on her. She's good, but not JtmS level. She's harder to deal for creature based decks, and this is what control was crying for recently, was it not?
And as for creature decks - imagine Scavenging some counters onto your assassin tokens, now enemy that would block easily will be having much tougher time with that. Imagine populating the tokens. Yep, good times.
Also, I like the fact that she's 2 color. I always like powerful 2 color cards, making them harder to shove into all decks in the meta.

-3 says: No. Essentially you use this when there is a creature that would otherwise whipe the floor with her. 3 loyalty is cheap when you consider you saved her from a 4+/4+ fatty.
-7 is frankly a gamble. Her whole design is to inspire panic in your opponent. You could activate it asap, and you might win uncontested. Or it might be wiser to wait a turn with another +1 and ult next turn keeping her around.
Yes her ult is amazing, but it is not an instant win like jace was. People see "loses the game" and assume its an instant win. Any kind of field clear or chump blockers instantly waste this ult.
She's good, might even be great. But there exists alot of easy answers that just hose her abilities. (except of course -3, that will always hurt.)
I'd say $25-$35 after her price settles. She is not $50-$80 material.
I completely agree but the given position with green/black is pretty sturdy Given you have boardwipe in black (lots of currently) and you can just throw a rancor on right away on one of those assassins and you could easily win regardless she will be played moderately but her final i dont expect to be used often and not to mention if you do use her final you could allways scavenge immediately as well i see her as good but not tier 1
I didn't compare her to goyf... I compared to PW that are legal along with her on type 2.

ur comparing her to other PW in standard? Karn wont be in standard when shes released the fact of the matter is you have overly high standards for cards and cant understand balance the thing is just because a good card isnt teir 1 doesn't make the card terrible -_-
