I remember when I first got back into Magic, was a bit before Innistrad, finding my way to this community and just getting so into everything and discussing things, posting and sharing deck lists (some good, some bad), having a blast on the commander forums especially as that more and more became my favorite format. This quickly became one of my go to sites for just wasting hours of my time. I've grown distant from the game and community over the last couple of years for a combination of reasons, but even still there's a special place in my heart for it all.
So yeah, this announcement definitely hurts, it's like a huge part of my adult life is sorta dying, damn near a decade of it at that. It's also closing the day before my 29th birthday so..yeah, that really rubs the salt in.
I've seen this place both through good times and bad, and even if aspects of the community or other things sorta pushed me away, I am genuinely saddened by this news and will cherish the memories I have. Thanks for the ride.
Last time I was at one of our larger get togethers...well, he threw his hand at one of our friends after some action against him, can't recall what.
He's said before that if he's not winning he's not having fun.
Bit of a stereotypical spike that one.
I have another friend that, after a few drinks, I beat his vintage black aggro deck he spent tons of cash on with my relatively cheap standard werewolf deck....he almost hit me with a wine bottle.

..but that's just Dredge for ya.
Also, no interest in Dark Souls? :[
I'd say go for Innistrad if you want boxes though.
I've got like...1 or 2 of him, and a friend wanting to get them off my hands (surprisingly not for Sun..whatever the deck is with him and Lilliana), but I was kinda holding onto them on the chance that him being a bit of a star player in a deck that is driving Lilliana's prie up will push his price up too ala Prime Titan.
Worth holding onto or should I trade them off?
I did try WGR, did not work as well as just running them RG, I think I'll save my white humans for their own deck.
Also, since I'm kinda sick of everyone saying him...Daybreak Ranger is a girl.
Sacrifice another creature: Untap Grimgrin and put a +1/+1 counter on it.
Now I assume that means I can use the ability even if he is currently untapped, right? As untapping him is an effect of the ability and not part of the cost (sacrificing a creature is).
So let's say I just played Army of the Damned and am attacking with Grimgrin, could I sacrifice the zombies to pump him by 13 (as well as untapping him after declaring my attack)?
Technically yeah, he is.
