I remember when I first got back into Magic, was a bit before Innistrad, finding my way to this community and just getting so into everything and discussing things, posting and sharing deck lists (some good, some bad), having a blast on the commander forums especially as that more and more became my favorite format. This quickly became one of my go to sites for just wasting hours of my time. I've grown distant from the game and community over the last couple of years for a combination of reasons, but even still there's a special place in my heart for it all.
So yeah, this announcement definitely hurts, it's like a huge part of my adult life is sorta dying, damn near a decade of it at that. It's also closing the day before my 29th birthday so..yeah, that really rubs the salt in.
I've seen this place both through good times and bad, and even if aspects of the community or other things sorta pushed me away, I am genuinely saddened by this news and will cherish the memories I have. Thanks for the ride.

Cards that are banned in Vintage are not legal in Commander.
How do you think it's going to be handled?
We'll take your Brudiclad example. So it is a red/blue token deck, while yes the ability to have your tokens become copies of another is really cool, is it really nonfunctional without that? You can't still just swing with a token army or make use of them in some other form?
That's where it goes into "poorly built", if you answer no to that.
Personally can't say I'd be interested in the format, I just see no reason I would want to play it over Commander as is.

In addition, all boxes come with a box topper pack that contains a single Godzilla series card.
Normal boosters have no chance of containing the Godzilla series variants unless they are Japanese? That's really lame if so.
Otherwise it's just Collector's Boosters that contain them?
I wanted to focus more on flavor than strictly optimization, which is why I am basically not running mana rocks and such. I'm sure it can still use some work, not sure if I want to be running more creatures than I am or not as there were a bunch I cut when I was trimming the deck down (I had the list up to like 132 before this).

Reading that and seeing angel planeswalkers as a likelihood really does confirm that they don't give a **** about the lore anymore, then again given the artificial being that became a walker in the new Theros that was basically already confirmed.
*sigh*
Costs too much (cmc-wise), it would ultimately be more redundancy for what Disciple does at 1cmc, but Warstorm Surge already sorta fills that role on a harder to remove body (and in a slightly different way).

Pretty happy with where the deck is but as always there's that feeling of wanting to improve it and whatnot.
Was wondering what people's experiences have been with Master Transmuter. It would be a very flavorful inclusion (based on lore, the card art literally depicts Breya) and the card itself has quite a bit of utility from being able to protect and/or put out combo pieces or other potential wincons to generating value out of Sol Ring or turning Duplicant into essentially "U: Exile target creature".
I just worry that it may be a touch slow and/or draw removal before actually managing to do anything with it.
A three month delay on something that's also not supposed to be out for 3 months as it is does make it kinda hard to say.
