I remember when I first got back into Magic, was a bit before Innistrad, finding my way to this community and just getting so into everything and discussing things, posting and sharing deck lists (some good, some bad), having a blast on the commander forums especially as that more and more became my favorite format. This quickly became one of my go to sites for just wasting hours of my time. I've grown distant from the game and community over the last couple of years for a combination of reasons, but even still there's a special place in my heart for it all.
So yeah, this announcement definitely hurts, it's like a huge part of my adult life is sorta dying, damn near a decade of it at that. It's also closing the day before my 29th birthday so..yeah, that really rubs the salt in.
I've seen this place both through good times and bad, and even if aspects of the community or other things sorta pushed me away, I am genuinely saddened by this news and will cherish the memories I have. Thanks for the ride.

Yeah Dredge would be a rather fun (and relatively inexpensive) counter to a mill deck, as he'd only be helping you win faster.
Had Carnage Altar in an earlier build, it got cut somewhere along the line, not sure what to replace with it. Thinking a Phyrexian Tower at some point for mana acceleration if need be.
Agreed on the greaves and/or boots, also picked up an amulet of vigor which will help him out a bit too.
And I always forget the tutor with wings :[
May give you a few ideas.
Also, you're running black, you should know by now that life doesn't really matter. If you're hurting for life though, Wurmcoil Engine is never a bad idea.
And run Conspiracy/Xenograft, there now everything fits in zombie tribal.
That said, I only really call it a children's card game because...that's pretty much what I call every card game nowadays..blame the Yugioh Abridged Series.
Honestly when I first heard about it, my first thought was "I'd never play in a draft where I'm not guaranteed whatever I pull".
And..I still feel that way.
Yes I can understand why it is done, it discourages drafting just for money cards, but it also, IMO, takes away a lot of why some people may play in a draft as well, and part of the fun is seeing what you crack for your collection/another deck.
