do you side in helm vs their RiP?

Yeah. I recently cut helm though, as I think the D&T matchup is fine. I cut 2 trinispheres and the helm and added 3 spheres of resistance for the slightly faster combo meta like RB Reanimator. Might even start playing surgical.
I've just updated to your list, Sparki, except +1 Intuition, -1 Loam -- so a package of 2 Gamble, 3 Intuition with 3 Loam and 1 Crucible.

How many decks are you bringing the Spheres in against? ANT, Reanimator,...

I've always found myself questioning Sphere in the past and am considering Thalia and Revoker for those slots, since they are relevant in more matchups while also starting the clock vs combo.

Nice list. Mox Diamond is listed in both your main and side. I'll assume it's actually in the main or else colored mana could be tough to come by. What's actually in the side?

I'd suggest adding 1 Crucible as you're on 4 Ghost Quarter, of course for the waste-all-mana-sources plan but also for land recursion at a different CMC vs Sanctum Prelate.

Daryl Ayers' match against Joe Lossett really demonstrated the power of maindeck Boseiju. With so many Miracles decks out there now I think it's a strong inclusion.

    Re: Cavern

Consider also how Cavern in your opener affects your decision to keep/mull, and affects your early turn decision tree. Being able to guarantee that Mom/Thalia/Prelate/Containment Priest resolve when you need them to is extremely powerful against not only Miracles, but Delver, Chalice, i.e. a real chunk of the mets. It also forces the opponent to sidebosrd differently.

I've been running 2 Caverns in a more human-heavy build and the benefits have outweighed issues casting Serra Avenger so far. 3 Caverns seems possible depending on build and the number of WW sideboard cards.

Great work on the site, Phil.

If the new Thalia finds a home as a 2-3 of, would that warrant upping the Karakas count to four?

I've been playing a straight R/G version of this deck for some time, and I'd like to try out the RUG version with intuition and ruins, etc..
Do you have any recommended/stock list where I can start from?
Sparki's Oakland list from Page 1 of the thread would be a battle-tested starting point.

I've been playing a maindeck like this:

This build is good at establishing Grove-Punishing Fire, EE-Academy Ruins, Loam-Waste, Loam-Thicket, etc. with the tradeoff being fewer one-ofs like Karakas, Ghost Quarter, and Glacial Chasm.

The sideboard begins with your choice of Grip/Decay(+Bayou), Spheres, and Chalices. I've had success with Bob in the past but wonder if Thought-Knot Seer, Tireless Tracker, or Thalia/Canonist wouldn't be better at the moment.

How's the MTG scene in Tokyo? I play in Nagoya.

So I was one match from getting top 16 at the scg regional withe the black bring to light version. After playing against both tron and all the fast decks i realized that not only is the white splash better, but maybe some of the singles in the main board are too weak. The two that were the weakest for me were the single snapcaster and izzet charm. As for snapcaster, I feel like he is a lot better in the white splash, but i'm still doubt full. I will be sad to see maelstrom pulse go though, since that card is a freaking power house. Also i see a lot of people running acid moss main, is it really that good. Criticism is very welcomed.
Mwonvuli Acid-Moss is hit and miss. Vs Tron you'll be thrilled to have it, and vs Infect it's potentially relevant. I've also color-screwed someone who didn't expect Scapeshift to mess with his mana. I'm not convinced that it's the optimal card for the slot, but I can't say what is.

re: Worldly Counsel -- I've been running a split with Anticipate in the 4c BTL build with white. It consistently looks at three cards or more. As someone else commented, it's rarely your turn 2 play.

Out of curiosity, why isn't Gigadrowse discussed more as a sideboard option? It's been an excellent 1-of when I've drawn it and I keep catching myself thinking, "If I rip Gigadrowse, I win." Considering a second copy.

I, too, will echo is is challenging. I've played two matches against them with BW now, 3-3 total in games. First match I lost 1-2, second I won, 2-1. No game was easy. The games I won were close, and only 1 of the games I lost were close. The match I won had a lot of flipped Plowshares via Bob, so yea, you need card advantage up the ass to get our meager playset of Plowshares. Vindicate comes in pretty handy here, and I used Bitterblossom to stall and then eventually overwhelm at once point, but I only run singletons of those, so perhaps I even got lucky "tying" against the deck. Definitely something to watch out for.

Or just play Moat out of the side. Always an option, albeit expensive.
I've always been looking for a reason to buy a Moat Smile

Could you post your updated list and sideboard?

I've still only had the chance to test three matchups with BW Taxes: Mana-Rock Eldrazi, RUG Delver, and Shardless Pox. To be honest, none of them have been pretty. A decision that came up frequently in the latter two was whether to expose a Scrubland in the early game. Despite trying to protect them where possible, I frequently had issues getting WW for Serra Avenger or Flickerwisp because of opposing Wastelands, Stifles, Smallpoxes, and Sinkholes. I hope to get the chance to test against other decks.

The basics have been relevant in the few games I've played since updating my list. I began with 7 Wastes and plan to increase to 10. I wasn't sure whether to include Journeyer's Kite, until I considered the value of the repeated shuffle effect with Scroll Rack and Sensei's Divining Top.

As an aside, whereas Burntgerbil favors silver artifacts, I've gone the opposite route with all-brown for my Karn deck. I've proxied cards in the old border as needed. (Yes, I own the real cards.) Any suggestions on what style I should use for the Wastes?

Two weeks ago I piloted BW Taxes against my friend's build of colorless Eldrazi which plays mana rocks in addition to the Sol Lands. There was no amount of mana denial that could keep it down. 3 Waste + 1 Port barely made a dent. I think I won 1 of 5 games. It was absolutely brutal. The best hope was early fliers with equipment. Perhaps Ensnaring Bridge could steal a win if they don't run/draw Endbringer. The point to test is whether the potential sideboard cards make enough of a difference to swing the matchup or whether we're better off praying to dodge it.

For those on the Bring to Light build, is there a consensus on the split between BTL and Scapeshift? A 4/3 split has worked well for me so far, but I'm curious if we can get away with 4/2 and free up a slot for a Lightning Bolt, Charm, etc.

I prefer Mwonvuli Acid-Moss to Hunting Wilds since the LD is relevant against multiple decks in game 1. Still, that's another slot that I could see becoming cheap removal, if needed.

Bring to light answers the problem this turn, where with gifts it's the next.

I have been preaching supreme verdict but no one seems to listen. I want to run path, but scaredof getting early white.
I've been running maindeck Supreme Verdict per your suggestion. It has been good. Timely Reinforcements as well. I was 7-1 in test matches...before testing against Affinity <gulp>

I've hard-cast Verdict multiple times. It's been uncastable in hand twice. I've also had it in hand waiting and combo-killed the opponent instead. I'm still considering the slimmer BTL build with Lightning Bolts; I just need more time to test it.

Does the deck needs an alternative win con in the side? considering that there will probably be more hate for our main win con

I'm experimenting with more win cons like Huntmaster of the Fells and Inferno Titan in case we get Games'd or Crumbled to the point we can't go off.
I also have Teferi who's an all-star against control and anyone else who wants to interact with us.
I also would like to add an alternate win con to side in as a 1-of to hedge against Scapeshift being nullified. Ideally it'd be playable through BTL to add virtual copies. This build doesn't dig well enough to find a singleton Inferno Titan consistently, much as I'd like to run one. I'm considering Thrun for the job.

Have people tested Chalice of the Void out of the sideboard?

Top 8'ed a 31-man today with this pile, very similar to what I posted a page back:
OMG Vindicate was great all day. I'm considering just swapping him for Mirran Crusader's spot. I hit lands with it twice at crucial moments, one basic even. I'm sold that Bob and Thoughtseize have a home in this deck shell. Black just feels... strong. Ultimately got knocked out by Jund, but what can ya do? It's still a "fair" white weenie deck, so that one just has your number sometimes. Nevertheless, I can't wait to get this build back into action again.
How have you been doing with the black splash since this post? I've sleeved it up and will play a few matches this week. The only thing I love as much as mana denial is Dark Confidant Grin

How have the changes affected your match ups so far, vs Sneak and Show and Miracles in particular? My main concern is the lack of MD Revokers.

    @AKTilted

Incredible showing in those side events! Thank you for the report.

I noticed that you cut Zuran Orb from the board. How did that work out?

    @Everyone
How necessary is Glacial Chasm right now?
Of course there are games that it flat out wins. How many does it lose by being a dead draw? I can't count the number of times I've seen it early in a game and thought, "If only that were any other card..."

I've gone back to 2x Tranquil Thicket. Having gone without any copies for so long, I really notice the consistency it adds in combination with the tutors (I'm still on the Gamble-Intuition-Crop list below). The second copy is big as I frequently draw or dredge into it early on. The additional green sources occasionally make a crucial difference.

    EDIT: Added list

This is still one of my favorite cubes. I put it on cubetutor a while ago as I was intending to build it IRL and wanted to see it in action first.

    Here's the visual spoiler.
