I've never built a Scion deck but in my general magic experience, here are my thoughts.
You seem to like dragons, and that's fine. But if you want the deck to be more efficient, you don't need a ton of dragons, you just need the best ones, the ones who will you will be able to use to kill people with Scion in 1 or 2 turns. You have a lot of really mediocre creatures just for the sake of being big dragons.
You have almost no ramp / accel / fixing. You need some smaller artifact, creature, and sorcery based ramp spells.
Your tutors are pretty lack luster as well.
All in all, you say you need some sort of theme or direction, but that's sort of for you to figure out as the creator of the deck! What would you like to do? Make it super competitive, or play flashy creatures?
While I haven't playtested it yet, I just re-built an old favorite of mine, and included Ponder over Fact or Fiction. My friends will probably think I'm out of my mind, but on paper, Ponder is excellent. Agreed on the copy artifact front. It seems like a very situational card, as does Swine (even though this is some of the only creature ezile in blue). Taking extra turns, drawing cards, and countering spells are all things blue is great at.
Holy cap what rock did you crawl out of? It's been years since I saw you post here. I remember the old days when we were tweaking and adjusting Jenara. Welcome back lol.
Hello old friend. Friends suddenly decided to get back into MTG, and since that's the only time I can see them, guess I'm back! Currently rebuilding Jenara (maybe Derevi), this time, with more Ponder.

It's been a while ladies and gents. My playgroup has gotten back together recently and the remainder of my decks are awfully low power level. In an effort to create a more competitive deck I settled on Mimeoplasm. I've never been much of a fan of infinite combos. Perfectly fine running [Armageddon] or getting in with infect damage, but generating inf mana, drawing inf cards, etc. was just never my style.
Over the past few days I poured over many lists, some competitive, and others not so much. Primary inspiration comes from DTrain's retired primer, and my old Jenara deck, which was a derivative of ISBPathfinder's Jenara list. White brought a lot to the table with Reveillark, Sun Titan, and Karmic Guide. I feel as though I'm not taking full advantage of BBBBBB. The discard / sac outlets aren't entirely there and I'm not in love with my reanimation suite. Here I am looking for suggestions!
I don't know if I would be entirely sold on the hammer. Haste is cool, and the land sac has some synergy with the graveyard effects. But I often found that if things go poorly and I can't get Borb to stick for long then I'd really desperately need those lands in play. Seems like a card slot that is better served for something else.
Haha Church, I feel you man. I love this list, and as I started going through the deck trying to find money. I realized that snapcaster and wheel are the only cards in my list worth much, pulled out the snap and I'm leaving the rest together since it still runs just as hard as ever.
Starting the process of offloading a lot of my collection. I'm an EDH player, but I've been picking up a lot of modern staples as time has gone by. When do Modern PTQ's start getting under way? Should I wait until then to get rid of most of my stuff, or just say screw it and get it over with now?
Looks like thread search is down.
It seems like Gahiji would make a nice alternative to Jor Kadeen. Replacing the Metalcraft Necessity and giving some political aspects, meanwhile helping your opponents take down your opponents, and finally adding a great color for card advantage. The downsides being him not being as big as KD, and it doesn't help when opponents attack you (though it does discourage them).
Most of the big cards I've been thinking about adding here are mainly better passive token generators to help keep up the tax / sac theme. The additional tokens would also help with getting damage through which is always good. The other options include adding some things like sylvan library to help smooth out our hands early on. Perhaps a harmonize, and a beast within.
Any other ideas?
Edit: Spawnwrithe could be an interesting wincon. The always good awakening zone. Then parallel lives, doubling season, and the other new card.
I know this is kind of off the current topic, but how has Ixidron been working for you? The only thing I don't like about it is that it affects our own stuff and it's technically not a true wrath, but it is a good answer to certain creatures and whatnot.
Ixidron was always great for me as a means to take out those decks that are super reliant on their general. Sharuum, Ezuri, Uril, etc. are completely wrecked until they use their own removal to get rid of their general. I've enjoyed.
Hey all, I'm in the process of teaching myself a new web framework and just wanted a little project. I've started piecing together what I feel would be a useful utility for a new Card Price & Collection Tracking / Gathering Website. I have some features in mind, but am curious what you guys would think would be helpful.
For example:
A collection sharing / trading community similar to tappedouts but much more robust.
Features that track individual cards, decks, sets, your collection, etc. pricing over durations.
FAQ's on particular cards for commonly asked rules questions.
I posted this over in magic general for some reason, without noticing this subforum. Anyway:
Hey guys, a few months ago I remember stumbling across a website still in beta that tracked aggregate card prices over a certain time frame. It also allowed you to upload your collection one card at a time in order to track that more rigorously. Does anyone know if this website is still a thing or if there are any others like it?
Essentially, you searched a card price and it tracked it over the last few months for you and gave you highs + lows from SCG, TCG, eBay, etc. with the option to buy from any of the above. Any idea if this still exists?

Sisay is a slow value over time generator. There are likely a LOT of cards that would make my list before she would.
Probably the top of the value over time generators in my mind would be something like Progenitor Mimic and Thada Adel, Acquisitor who I have actually grown sort of fond in with some of my other decks.
Still, this is an ETB based deck and while sisay does have a few targets in here, I dont much care for her slow nature. I prefer her a lot more as the commander with means to give her haste too. In here, I think I would be less impressed with her even if my legendary count did go up recently with Prime Speaker's addition.

I think I'd run saffi before I ran sisay.
