weirder: at a target, I saw an open gatecrash booster box, with the individual boosters for sale. was going to grab some, but figured someone already probably found all the good packs...

I was just wondering what envelopes everyone uses for trading here, when bubble mailers are not necessary? (for me the cut off is <40 dollar trades)
I'm asking since the post office has recently been destroying my send outs for trades. I've had 4 occasions in the past month where they have sent back my cards in a ripped up envelope with their "I'm so sorry but not really" letters.
Are there stronger envelopes to insure the envelopes dont get ripped in half? I'm using walmarts office envelopes (I guess they are kinda shoddy, but they have been fine for the past year, until now). I looked on amazon, and didn't see anything like reinforced envelopes. Recently, I've just been putting tape of the 4 sides of the envelope to make it harder to tear.
Anyone have similar experiences while trading, and any advice? I'd hate to have to only use bubbles from now on, since that would limit all my trades to be $40+ trades, which dont happen that often for me
Holy bejesus, I just googled that and by goodness does it look so scrumptious and bad! You're so lucky!
While I'd love to at least try one, I'd definitely have to rule out that 6 Fat sandwiches in 45 minutes thing. That's plainly impossible and way gross!
How is Hoagie Haven different from Subway, other than the greater range of things?
Thanks for sharing.
That's interesting to hear.
And cool, Jamaican patties!
I also live near princeton. Hoggie Haven is the best. main thing is that there are a lot more "unhealthy" options (more unhealthy than subway is hard to believe), like fries in my hoggie!
and, I didn't see a Crave Case! 10 sliders made with who-knows-what in them. not beef for sure.
this with essence warden. then it becomes until you deck.
is there anyway to win just by having a lot of creatures (since they cannot swing that turn)?
You will need a starting hand with at least archtect, pilipala, or tutors.
goal is t2 pili, t3 architect, with blue sun zenith in hand. go infinite mana, draw whole deck for gob test pilot and freed from the real if needed, and do infinite damage with the test pilot.
why this? I thought the reddit post was awesome. and I think this is modern-legal, so it would be hilarious just to see it work once. banefire is for normal infinite mana wins (also known as boring)
any improvements to increase the consistency of the deck?
Just wondering, how much tanking would occur if it WAS reprinted, in MM, or a commander product? I'm thinking from 17 -> 10, but given the small print run that MM is allegedly going to have, is such a drop in price likely if it appears? what about in a sealed product like commander decks?
Right now my favorite card is Seismic Assault. I love the assault loam deck, even though it has fallen out of favor. this is also the first modern deck I tried to build.
I just picked up 1200 sleeves for cubing/edh! around $62 for ultra-pro matte (dont judge...)
Always send in toploaders! but the cards are fine - it is the envelopes that are getting ripped
I've never had this problem before this month, maybe someone in the post office is new and screwing something up?
but 1.80 is still a lot more than 45 cents. I guess they dont make anything like tough-to-tear envelopes?

exactly.
I'll also add a personal favorite that I will miss when I graduate. Passionfruit juice (in our dining hall!) + pepsi.
good idea. which tutors should be dropped? Im thinking idyllic?
and the X spells are backups - though I can see how the elegance(?) drops a bit
maybe add in another jank combo like test pilot? any ideas?

I'm liking these odds. hopefully a box will have at least 4 shocks
4x Pili-pala
4x Goblin test pilot
4x freed from the real
4x memnite
4x Reshape
3x Enlightened Tutor
3x Idyllic Tutor
4x blue sun's zenith
2x banefire
4x hallowed fountain
4x glacial fortress
4x sulfur falls
4x steam vents
