I have a question regarding counters and SBAs. Say I have a Festerhide Boar that came in with Morbid active (it has 2 +1/+1 counters on it). I have 4 mana untapped, an Undying Evil and Grim Affliction in hand. My intent is to cast both in succession when my Boar is about to die to save it (get rid of the +1/+1 with Grim Affliction and save it with Undying Evil).
My question is: If I cast Grim Affliction and give the -1/-1 counter to the Boar, will SBAs be checked and the -1/-1 counter disappear (taking only a single +1/+1 counter with it) before I'm able to Proliferate, meaning I can only Proliferate the remaining +1/+1? Or will I be able to Proliferate the -1/-1 counter before SBAs are checked, then have the 2 +1/+1 counters and 2 -1/-1 counters clear each other as part of the SBAs?

Wolfbitten Captive's Activated ability is (cut non-important part):
:1mana::symg:: Wolfbitten Captive gets +2/+2 until end of turn.
Since it specifies "Wolfbitten Captive" for the buff, if I were to activate the ability and somehow he were to transform into Krallenhorde Killer, would he be a 4/4 (2/2 with the +2/+2) or a regular 2/2 (since Krallenhorde Killer is not Wolfbitten Captive)?
I'm thinking it would be a regular 2/2 because the ability specifies the name, but I'm not quite sure.

I'm still trying to figure out what I want to play. I like the Heartless Architect deck, but there are things I feel it's lacking some things I just can't put my finger on. A friend of mine took out a Wurmcoil, Metamorph, Image and Superion to put in a Steel Hellkite and 3 Frost Titans.
I want to do the same removals and try 3 Tezzes instead of the Frosts. Bad idea, I know, but I still would like to give that a try.
So... basically all nice guys need to get six packs so the girls like them...

Trust me, a lot of people will SAY they want to find a nice guy, but that's almost never true. They want all the positives of the bad-boy with all the positives of the nice guy, with none of the negatives of either.
Just like how a lot of guys have very uninformed and unrealistic wants and expectations of women.
I've seen a lot of smart, beautiful and outgoing women in crappy relationships with bad-boys, getting cheated on, ignored and even abused, and they just keep coming back. They either wrongly think that's what they deserve, that they can't do any better or that all guys are like that.
It's sad, but it's the way of life.
If your friend really truly wants a nice guy, she'll have to understand what that means and accept that it will take a lot more work to find such a guy.

@Necro: Ironic, that's what my GF has as one of her decks. Although, she uses more things like Jace, Memory Adept and Sword of Body and Mind for the majority of the milling.
She can go to FNM because of her schedule, so after I've recovered enough to attend FNM again, I'll be taking that deck. Plus, if milling doesn't seem to work, she has plenty of Zombies to try and do the job.
