The flavor text is wrong:( this has no spiky bits. It can't damage anything.

I like HP as much as your average Joe, but I hope this is either a wholly original mage school or draws from lots of places. Earthsea was mentioned. There's also the King Killer Chronicles and the Magicians plus I'm sure many many more. I'm excited for it (and the Viking set) if done right. I trust 'um:)

Speaking of reskins though, this zendakar set missed a huge opportunity for Adventure Time ones!!!!! That would have been amazing!

I, for one, am super glad they've given up on that uniform font idea. They were losing so much visually. These are much cooler. I'm excited for all these sets. Maybe a little cautious about the D&D one, but I bet they'll do a good job.

This no chaff booster is a silly idea, in that if they really did it immediately half the set (at least, probably more) would instantly become chaff/bulk. I don't know a ton about economics but it's pretty simple. For the packs to hold their price only very few cards can be worth the price of a pack. If half the set is worth $5+ then either those prices will crash or pack prices will rise. I know the proponents of this idea want the crash, but if they do then everyone will just be complaining about their "worthless" chaff in a month. People will be throwing away their paths and bolts from box openings cause they've got 24 of them at home.

I think there's a lot of complaining about something no one has actually experienced yet Smile I for one am super excited about this! I mainly play booster battles (pack wars) with my boosters and these seem way, way better for that. If they put them in big box stores they'll probably stick around the 5 dollar price range. Heck, I could see them cutting draft boosters from big box stores. These make way more sense for there. Or at least they should do that.

I'm probably going to get that sword. I have fancy versions of all the rest of the original 5 and I really like that artwork!

I'm pretty sure the article today with the siesmic and the walls mentioned a mill theme.

If it said, you win the game and bought you dinner it would be better... Smile As it stands, a two for one in commander for 4-5 Mana, sometimes 2, is pretty cool.

Why can we have cute dogs in capes with "pet dog, all the love in your heart" flavor text, but we can't have squirrels? I'm hoping the nightmare was the start of something and not a one off. For me a pack of domesticated dogs attacking a dragon is more jaring then a hord of squirrels attacking said dragon. Might just be me though. Glad those who want it are getting dog tribal though.

Isn't Dragon Arch already "on a stick" or it is a stick, ...something. Anyway, to follow that logic what if it's "cost: chose up to 5 different creatures of different colors and put them in to the battlefield." Could be fun. Or maybe "look at the top X, put one of each color into the battlefield."
