The list for Michael Bernat at GP Indianapolis was part of a grinder, not the main event (should read 32 players, then).

Looks like there are some blue decks, but not a ton.
I would play a sideboard that has 4x Carpet of Flowers 4x Pyroblast 7x Who Gives a Crap
If they play Islands, then bring in Carpet of Flowers over Seething Song.
If they play counters (or Mindbreak Trap, like Goblins might), then bring in Pyroblast over Street Wraith (and 1 Gitaxian Probe)
Dislike.
As stated above, if you're worrying about Seething Song getting countered and your opponent plays Islands (pretty likely), then bring in Carpet of Flowers.
I highly recommend my mainboard I posted above (see this) if you are playing Burning Wish and LED. I would change my sideboard as follows: -3 Chancellor of the Annex +2 Sylvan Library +1 Forest
I'm building Ando's list that he took to the top 8 of a GP last year. The sideboard is pretty standard, and I'm personally not fond of being transitional (though I understand it's been relatively successful as of late).
If you don't want to click through, here is the deck and my rounds.
4 Elvish Spirit Guide
4 Simian Spirit Guide
4 Lotus Petal
4 Land Grant
3 Chrome Mox
1 Taiga
Additional Mana Sources
4 Rite of Flame
4 Tinder Wall
4 Desperate Ritual
4 Pyretic Ritual
4 Seething Song
4 Lion's Eye Diamond
2 Grim Monolith
4 Gitaxian Probe
Win Conditions
4 Goblin Charbelcher
3 Burning Wish
3 Empty the Warrens
4 Carpet of Flowers
4 Pyroblast
3 Chancellor of the Annex
1 Empty the Warrens
1 Hull Breach
1 Infernal Tutor
1 Pyroclasm
2-0 vs Affinity
2-0 vs BUG Delver
2-0 vs Deadguy Ale + Green
1-2 vs Deathblade + Goyf (Chris Marshall, top 8)
2-1 vs Death & Taxes
2-1 vs OmniTell
0-2 vs Tezzerator (Chris Van Meter)
1-2 vs Omnitell (Drew Levin)
0-2 vs Dredge
In a Wishless build, I could see that. Then again, I also hate Manamorphose in a Belcher deck.
How is Seething Song a replacement for LED when Seething Song should be a staple in the deck to begin with?
If discard is a huge problem, try running 2-3 Mystic Remora in your sideboard. Also useful against faster combo decks (especially black-based that run discard).
Edit: Here is my list I'm willing to try.
4 Daru Spiritualist
4 Nomads en-Kor
4 Simian Spirit Guide
2 Standard Bearer
4 Tireless Tribe
4 Apostle's Blessing
4 Faithless Looting
4 Gitaxian Probe
4 Inside Out
2 Iron Will
2 Stave Off
5 Mountain
I would run Lotus Petal if I had them (may go for them).
Rather than Chaos Charm, I prefer more protection in Benevolent Bodyguard and Stave Off. Manamorphose doesn't feel amazing, so I'd like to try Iron Will and Standard Bearer.
Edit: I guess Apostle's Blessing let's you get around the blocker.
Edit 2:
Maybe blue isn't an option since Twisted Image is uncommon.
3 Copy Enchantment
2 Corrupted Conscience
4 Ghostly Prison
3 Greater Auramancy
2 Rest in Peace
2 Rule of Law
1 Sigil of the Empty Throne
3 Sphere of Safety
3 Spreading Seas
4 Suppression Field
4 Glacial Fortress
2 Godless Shrine
4 Hallowed Fountain
2 Island
3 Isolated Chapel
2 Nephalia Drownyard
7 Plains
2 Aura of Silence
4 Leyline of Sanctity
3 Nevermore
1 Rest in Peace
2 Rule of Law
3 Timely Reinforcements
You need to find a replacement for Flusterstorm since it's not legal in Modern.
Yes it is.
I ended up going 1-2 at SCG DC before dropping (for personal responsibilities).
Round 1 vs Grixis Standstill(?)
Game 1 wasn't so bad. He tried countering some of my spells, but I had more and ended up winning.
Game 2 and 3 were an absolute nightmare. This deck is essentially anti-combo. He had Force of Will, Counterspell, Flusterstorm, Red Elemental Blast, Thoughtseize, and Inquisition of Kozilek. I couldn't gather enough resources either game.
In game 3, he cast Inquisition targeting me, so I cast Brainstorm, which he Mana Leaked. I cast Flusterstorm to counter both Inquisition and Leak (2 copies on each, he had 1 mana). Of course, he cast Flusterstorm with that one mana, and I promptly died shortly after.
0-1
Round 2 vs UWR Stoneblade (piloted by Josh Cho!)
Losing round 1 and getting paired against a pro is rather humorous. Note: Josh is a great guy. We sat down and joked. I rolled a 3 with my dice, and he shook the dice enthusiastically and said "come on, one time!" and then rolled a 4 to narrowly beat me. He screamed in excitement, causing everyone to laugh, and I gave him a high five for it.
This match was really easy. Game 1 I wished for Gigadrowse, and Cho was puzzled. The next turn I wished for Pact. Then, at the end of his next turn (notice how I can just wait and wait against this deck?) I cast Gigadrowse, tapped him out, and proceeded to win.
1-1
Round 3 vs Tin Fins
Game 1 I wasn't sure what he was playing until he turn 2 Ritualed into Entomb/Exhume. He drew 21 cards and WHIFFED. However, I didn't have enough to win next turn and I didn't have a counterspell in my hand, so he reanimated Iona to lock me out.
Game 2 I brought in Mystic Remora, which really helped (essentially I got to keep playing lands and playing filters while forcing him to stall and do nothing). As I started to combo, I couldn't generate enough mana. I grabbed Brain Freeze then realized he likely had Emrakul. I checked my mana, and I was 1 short of Scroll -> Wish -> Surgical. (Note: this was a giant misplay, because prior to grabbing Brain Freeze, I spent 1 mana to cast Mystic Remora to bump up my storm count. It turned out to be not only unnecessary, but my downfall).
1-2 (drop)
I made some mistakes, unfortunately, and the first round was an awful match-up.
As of now, I'm taking a break a competitive Magic indefinitely. There are some things in my personal life I need to address. I have sold my High Tide deck, and I really doubt I'll end up obtaining it again the future. This decision was not made lightly, believe me.
I will still be in the forums to help with theory. As for Magic in general, I will still be judging (you may see me at a GP near you!) and cubing. Thank you everyone for your ideas and help with the deck.
Edit: Almost forgot! Here is the list I played at SCG DC.
