If you say "okay" and your intent is to think about the spell responding but your opponent assumes you are allowing it to resolve, stop them and tell them "I was thinking of responding. I will say 'it resolves' (or give a thumbs up) when I'm done" and continue to play.

    good stuff

Feline, you never fail to provide masterful information regarding the deck. You should rewrite the primer at this point.

Your opponent's only chance to Command you is during the end of your main phase. They cannot do anything prior to you attacking as turn-based actions (declaring attacks, declaring blockers) always occur at the beginning of their respective steps. Furthermore, to move from one step to the other both players must pass priority. Thus, if your opponent Commands you at the end of your main phase they did not pass priority, which means you are allowed to go back, activate the manland, and pass priority a second time.

    This is not 100% accurate.

Your opponent's only chance to Command you is during the end of your main phase.

The last chance an opponent has to tap down your creatures so they cannot attack is during the beginning of combat step. This is also the last chance you have to animate a manland so it can attack.

Thus, if your opponent Commands you at the end of your main phase they did not pass priority, which means you are allowed to go back, activate the manland, and pass priority a second time.

You're not really "going back." After a spell/ability resolves, active player regains priority. To move to another step, both players must pass priority in succession.

I also like that Athen's blue list and it has alot of interaction against the metagame. Trinket mage into a gigantic chimeric mass in the late game is pretty awesome. I personally love the singleton oblivion stone in the sideboard the most though. O. stone is one of my favorite artifacts for sure.

Definitely a sweet card, especially against something like Enchantress.

My sideboard now includes Gilded Drake for Show and Tell, otherwise it's literally 90% of that list.
