World of Warcraft is the best game I've ever played. Console games are not as good, long, or in-depth as they used to be; the days of N64 and PS1 were better than what we have now. I voted for PC.

Could this be where Karn got them from in the first place? Sure, absolutely, but I think that option inhibits a bit of creativity on R&D's part.

Karn didn't retrieve them from their home plane, Memnarch did through the use of soul traps without Karn's permission. Karn only returned them to where Memnarch took them from.

There seem to be Vedalken on Ravnica (look at the Rumor Mill). This seems to support the planar crossroads theory, because I find it unlikely that two races on Mirrodin (Loxodon&Vedalken) were "imported" from the same homeplane.

Either the two races traveled there and Ravnica is an interplanar crossroads, or Ravnica was their place of origin all along and Karn simply retransplanted them from Mirrodin.

Guys, I think that it is improbable to have a vedalken in Ravnica. I dimly recall some info about storyline of Mirrodin Block, and there was said something about the Vedalken evolving from Neurok humans at Mirrodin by the effects of prolonged serum consuming - so they were a Mirrodin-specific race (unlike the loxodons, who were grabbed my Memnarch's probes, but except the metallic body parts that were grown due to the effects of mycosynth, they remained rather unchanged.)

The Vedalken had to have gone somewhere, because they weren't on Mirrodin by the end of Fifth Dawn. The logical explanation for this would be that the Vedalken go back to wherever the Neuroks they evolved from came. Teach

It appeared in all 5 colours on many different creature types... and except for it's flavour (oriental) it could be used in the future.

Wrong. Bushido only appeared in 4 of the 5 colors and only appeared on Samurai. In an environment without Samurai, this mechanic will not appear, making it a one-shot deal that won't come back unless Kamigawa is revisited (unlikely).

However, I do agree with you that Bushido isn't narrow. Like haste and first strike, it doesn't require synergy with other cards to be useful. Mechanics and Splice unto Arcane and Spiritcraft are narrow because they require interactions with other cards and even then the abilities/effects are usually too weak to be worth the effort spent to obtain them. The hallmark of a good keyworded mechanic is being useful on its own.

Is the influence of the Christian Church on history positive?

I'll be on the team AGAINST, but only if the collective strength of my team is able to grow. I don't think me and Squirels.On.Fire have the skills to take on Furor and extremestan (not even Furor alone for that matter).

CMON, PLEASe, we need someone else to sign on for this debate...

Only those loyal to the dark lord dare speak his name. Sorta like Voldie...

Phyrexians aren't even normally allowed to say his name, with the exception of the Inner Circle. The name Yawgmoth, however, is instilled in the minds of newts while they are still in the vat.

Capitalism is black because it puts the individual before the group.

Socialism is white because it puts the group before the individual.

Neither is good nor evil, right nor wrong. They are both systems used by different people that see themselves as being right.

Does this help at all? Smile

There was a man from Nantuckett, who kept all of his weaponry in a bucket. Still the FBI had good cause to fear donuts that could talk. These were Mr. Poopy's secret weapons, and in Nantuckett Mr. Poopy was a living god! Showing that rednecks were, in fact, no smarter than republicans and libetarians.

Regardless, the man with the bucket was very sad. It was leaking all over his sister's head, wedlock be damned! The three-legged child saw Mr. Poopy and thought "Dang, that's one awesome looking red head!".

Mr. Poopy was sporting a snazzy jacket and matching nipple rings. This was particulary strange.

"God guys...." whispered the nipples, "we're snapy dressers."

"You bet we are." Replied the large and unclean underpants.

"What the ****? My body smells like rotten walrus vomit leftovers." Said the man wearing plaid Depends.

BaaPuff walks in smiling a smile that would make anyone think he was totally gay. Actually, he was and nobody knew except his lover.
