I have Riku of Two Reflections in play. I cast Conqueror's Pledge with kicker. I than use Riku of Two Reflections ability to copy the Sorcery. How many tokens do i get? I have been told 18 by a local judge and 24 by a different one. I would like to know how many i get.
See I've always figured the opposite. Wizards should try DAMN HARD to keep cards from exceeding 10 dollars on the secondary market. That's why things like this entomb reprint are good. it was what, a 15 dollar card only 2 or 3 years ago? far cheaper before that.
One's ability to play this game shouldn't depend on a person being in the Ritz. It should be affordable. #occupyinnistrad
People have to remember that Wizards only make money off a Card when the sell the pack / box. After that hey get nothing. That is why they are making these premium decks, commander deck, and event decks. It all comes back to releasing more product so they can make more money.

Modern is just such an awful format in so many levels. Hopefully the will ban / unban some more cards and get the format fixed first.
Honestly... what is the definition of a broken card?
I always thought that it was a card that would be forced into almost any deck and when it hits the table it's like a ****storm just bliksemmed the card's opponent.
Something like Skullclamp, Necropotence was?
Even though I don't doubt that Jace is close to that in Standard, but surely Modern and Legacy have tonnes of answers to it?

On topic Modern seems ok for people that started with the new border. I will never play it, since i would have to toss 1/2 my cards away. That is what happens when you have played for 15+ years.
This set was the WORST one ever made. Less than 5 good rares. The whole Rhystic sub theme that let your opponents negate the effects of a particular card was terrible, only study has emerged as a good EDH card.
What happen to Christine Sprankle is just wrong. If you think it is okay to treat women this way you are part of the problem. Would you allow people to harass your daughter / wife in such a manner than you should not be part of the magic community. Just because their is more men than women in the community does not give you the right to act in such a manner. When did people get the notion that not everyone is equal? In the USA you are suppose to treat people as equal regardless of religion / gender / race / age / height it is what the Constitution is based upon.
I really like the last set but gave up a long time ago playing competitively. Just play EDH, Type 4, pentagram, and legacy with a lot of friends.
