But, yeah, I think Ephemerron and Linessa are pretty far and away the choices here. I really don't see these picks as close as you do: Drake is an okay flier that I'll take aorund ht emiddle of the pack, and really nothing else compares to ephemeron in that first pack.
The choice is between Lymph Sliver and Knight of Sursi. While I am, of course, a fan of the knight, I really think we need to stay on theme here : lymph it is.
There are a lot of surprising picks there (the Phantasm over the Oddity), but most surprising was Shade of Trokair over the Sinew. What does that mean?
I'd pick the phantasm over the oddity most of the time, and the Shade over the Sinew almost all th etime, unless I already have slivers. THis doesn't seem all that surprising, but it's pretty awesome.

Though in all honesty I feel sad every time I pass a psychotrope thallid. It's like you're saying to someone at the table "Here you go. Please have the nuts. Go ahead."

ffs we have a stormfront rider, this is an obvious pick. Utopia Vow is something that half the time makes it as my 23rd, while Woodreaders is a first-pick out of some (admittedly weak) packs.
I remember the first time I played with PC, I picked a stormfront riders. I thoguht it had flash, and I was never corrected on it by my opponent, either, until we both realized afterr the en dof the match.
For that one match Riders was the most gigantic bomb ever.
Stormfront riders is too strong, and we're likely to be able to pick up another reflex late (and we certainly don't want two of them.) Riders seems like the pick, though I'm not 100% on that.
Malach just blocks. That's all he does. Sometimes he gets in there, but not overly often, but not enough to matter. He's a fine card but not worth picking over another fine cards that is synergistic withthe other cards we picked.

I'm still definitely favoring the lyph but I haven't made my official vote yet. Hoping thins will table is very risky =/.
I'd take Ephemmerron over blast about 95% of the time. It's a better card.
