Yea, the last three Jones episodes are epically good, but I think they are more so for people who are invested in the lore. There were shining moments for Martha, but of the modern companions she is the one I liked the least (I really did like her). Rose's special relationship with the Doctor and the ups and downs of it make for some heartbreak and triumph that is unmatched. Donna Noble annoyed me at first, but I fell for her pretty quickly and loved the way she was his equal in so many ways. Her fate and final episode are perhaps the most heartbreaking and cruel thing I have ever seen done to a beloved character. I cried my eyes out nearly as much as when Ianto died. Amelia Pond was all over the place and her story was pretty timey wimey, but her and Rory make for such a lovely story, and I do have a thing for red-heads (the accent made it that much better). Clara is breathtakingly stunning, and I like her sense of mischief, but I am still not quite sure what her relationship with the doctor really is.
I did love the anniversary special though- it answered so many questions that I genuinely thought would be left vague, and did so in a satisfactory way.
Did anyone watch the dramatized making of film? It wasn't too bad- probably even better if you are into that Mad Men golden age of television stuff (which I am lukewarm warm on).
I think with Martha, she was only there for the ride. She was a good companion but just a companion. I wished they would have had another season with Donna. And yeah, Donna annoyed me at first but after a while, she was one of the better companions.
Just started to watch Sherlock. I like it a lot but it's only 3 episodes per season. (Each I think were 90 minutes long).
Yeah, Blink was the first episode I had my other half Leif watch. I think the 2nd (well set) I had him watch was the Utopia through Last of Time Lords. (I know it was the episodes after blink but still) I really liked Martha's season ender set. And I know it's been a long time since posting
Dark Entrenchment
Whenever you play a swamp, put a counter on <this> and all creatures get -1/-1 until end of turn. If there is 3 or more counters on <this>, sacrifice it and you gain an emblem which "Whenever you play a swamp, all creatures your opponents control get -2/-2 until end of turn"
about Lazav : he seems very good, but one thing will make this card just "ok" in my books. The fact that it gains Legendary. If you copy a tusk and he casts another one, your Lazav dies. His tusk lives. Yes you still get the 3/3, but still, he will die a lot. Not that he's not good, i mean he's great, but he wont be that big of a problem.
He retains his name, so Thragtusk will have no interaction with the Legend rule
It might be plausible Mistermind. Return to Ravnica, Return to Kamigawa and Return to somewhere else, just to see what happened after the story lines of the three planes occurred.
Trashiest blue planeswalker ever printed? You do realize that he has more capability than Beleren right? You could only use Beleren for 3 turns because if you weren't using his -1 you were putting yourself at a disadvantage but now not only do you draw a card but you mill one from target player on top of that instead of both players drawing a card. I'm probably the only person here that has actually built a mill deck and took it to an fnm, and within the last like 3 months. I won at least one game in each match, and I got extremely close in nearly every game. If I had this Jace I would have won every one of those matches easily. Mill decks are, even now, much more powerful than people think. I just didn't have the control the deck needed mostly. He's not a bad planeswalker and he is more than twice as good as Beleren and I'm tired of hearing otherwise. He gives you card advantage for positive loyalty without giving it to your opponent as well. Not to mention if you use anything but JTMS's 0 you were using him incorrectly, unless the other player wasn't drawing any lands. Do you people really have to complain about the new jace? All I've read through out this entire thread is, "OMG A PLANESWOK3R TAHT CANT DO ABSOLUTELEY EVERYTHNG!!!!11!1! WTF IT MUST B TEH WORST CARD 3VER MAED!11111 OMG WTF LOL" and I say that with all seriousness. It's a great card, it gives hand advantage while taking either the card of your deck or your opponent's deck, and if you use jace's eraser it can ugly for them very quickly. If you are doing a full on mill deck his 0 is a godsend. Plus a deck with mirran crusader+Sword of body and mind+Jace 3.0=One heck of a mill deck. If you successfully attack with that, that's 30 cards of their deck in one turn. Not to mention all the other mill that likely had been going on that's probably a turn 5 mill win. Planeswalkers are not suppose to be good on their own. They are to be used with other cards to enhance the ability of your deck. Just look at Venser, unless you are using a bunch of stuff to bounce, he is crap. Jace is more standalone than Venser is! Yet Venser is, imo, one of the best planeswalkers by far. The only real downside to this card is his mana cost but most blue cards cost a lot, that's why blue has so many counter spells. Seriously people determine what kind of deck you would make for him, consider the cards to use in said deck then determine if he is any good. As far as I can tell, he is gonna have a slot in all my decks.
Wait til someone breaks him, then people will change their minds. I am thinking of using him to ultimate just the opponent, then Jace's Archivist to make him draw another 20, which should be end game.

well you can swap the soulbound target when another creature ETB, so if you get a 2nd wolfir out change the soulbound to it and have 2 12/12s
Cool artwork nonetheless
