Gahkael, Keeper of Peace4WW
Legendary Creature - Elephant Cleric {M}
Gahkael, Keeper of Peace enters the battlefield with ten -1/+1 counters on it.
Whenever a creature enters the battlefield put X -1/+1 counters on it, where X is that creatures power
:2mana:, Put a +1/-1 counter on target creature. Any player may activate this ability.
10/-2
Calugi Courser (2/G)(2/G)(2/G)(2/G)
Creature - Troll Warrior {U}
Calugi Courser enters the battlefield with three +1/+1 counters on it unless GG was spent to cast it. (2/G):Regenerate Calugi Courser.
4/4
Nice and straight forward, get a 4/4 for 4, or a 7/7 for 7 or 8. My only issue is that this only make you avoid G, not all colored mana. it just makes me want to play it in a different colored deck
Infrablast (2/R)(2/R)
Instant (U)
Infrablast deals 4 damage to target creature or player.
If R was spent to cast Infrablast it also deals 5 damage to you.
If anything I'd want to pump it up to 5 damage, other than that, this card has the same issue for me as above.
Etched Servitor 5
Artifact Creature - Golem (R)
Sunburst (This enters the battlefield with a charge counter on it for each color of mana spent to cast it.)
Creatures your opponents control get +1/+1 for each charge counter on ~.
8/8
Aside from what was already pointed out about the misuse of sunburst I really like this card, and the same result could easily be achieved by just using your sunburst reminder text as the actual card text.
Breaker's Bane (2/W)(2/B)(2/R)
Sorcery (R)
Choose one—Destroy target land; or destroy target colorless nonland permanent, then destroy another target colorless nonland permanent if you spent 6 to cast Breaker's Bane.
Same issue as the first 2 cards, but to a lesser extent as it leaves you with only 2 colors you could cast this with for it's additional effect. Rather than make just the second option improve, I think an entwine-esque clause would have been a better fit
Pale Paint Coating 5
Enchantment
(Pale Paint Coating is colorless.)
Creatures you control come into play with X +1/+1 counters on them, where X is the amount of colorless mana spent to cast them.
Nice and straightforward, despite the "Pale Paint Coating is colorless." clause be unnecessary (see Eldrazi). This card already has me looking for ways to break it in half.
Final Resistance 5
Legendary Artifact Creature - Juggernaut
Sunburst, Trample
If no colored mana was spent to cast ~, it enters the battlefield with 7 +1/+1 counters. If Final Resistance has 6 or more power, it has Battlecry.
The Mirran artificers couldn't get the design just right, until the moment they stopped trying.
-1/-1
Awesome concept and a surprising use of Sunburst, and the flavor text just puts in over the top, my only problem with the card it that the name sounds like a enchantment or sorcery.
Entry 4
Artifact
Whenever you cast a spell, if you spent no colored mana to cast it, draw a
card.
I'll fix it later!
sorry that I'm beating you to this, but I can pretty well figure out what you were doing mechanics. I like the potential for all my spells to be cantrips (or better if you have 2 of these out) I would have loved to have gotten some of the flavor of the card as well
Eldest Magics
Enchantment - Aura
Enchant creature you control.
Enchanted creature is colorless.
As long as Eldest Magics is under your control, colorless permanents you control are Indestructible.
The Elders cared not for the perfection of any school of magic, but rather the perfection of magic itself.
Good card, but grossly undercosted, in 9/10 situations this protects more things than Darksteel Forge and costs less. I do like it for being able to block creatures that have protection from [color]
B]Master's Alembic[/b] 3 ,T: Add three mana of any one colour to your mana pool. Spend only colourless mana to activate this ability.
Apprentices practice magic; masters make magic.
This card has me torn, it uses colorless mana, but makes me want to play colored spells.
Crater Crawler 5
Artifact Creature - Myr (R)
Whenever you tap a permanent for one or more colorless mana, add 1 to your mana pool and put a +1/+1 counter on each colorless creature you control.
3/3
Mana Echos for colorless mana is nice, but the counter distribution seems a little to powerful, on target creature would have probably been a little more balanced.
Void-Spine Nephilim 4
Creature - Nephilim (R)
Spend only colorless mana to cast Void-Spine Nephilim.
Whenever a player casts a spell, counter that spell unless its controller pays 1 for each of that spell's colors.
3/3
Bonus points for Nephilim! Tax on colored spells is awesome, and gets even more powerful vs. gold decks (and the other Nephilim ironically)
Rushed Tactics
Instant
Target player chooses a creature blocking a creature you control.
If that player is you, Rushed Tactics deals 3 damage to the blocked creature and to each creature target player controls.
If three or five players control three or five creatures, they each loose
who/what is "they"? the players the creatures?
... this card makes me sad... it had so much potential
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may put a creature card from your hand onto the battlefield. If you do, when that creature enters the battlefield, it fights target creature you control.
Just a fellow, I'm new-ish to MTG (started with m11) but I started my TCG playing many years ago with Pokémon, long time CCC'er with Pokémon, but I thought I'd give this a try as well
also, nice cards so far, glad to see people picking up on what the challenge meant
the game, put a [COUNTERNAME] counter on [CARDNAME].
At the beginning of each upkeep, if there are less than 2 [COUNTERNAME] counters on [CARDNAME], you lose the game.

Vanishing 3
Enchanted land's activated abilities can't be activated.
When Thawing Glacier leaves the battlefield, draw a card.

Anachrome is a nice new keyword, I'd be interested in seeing some other uses of it, but a counter-spell available to all colors seems dangerous

Artifact - Equipment
Equipped creature gets +2/+2
When equipped creature deals damage you may untap that many lands.
Equip
Karador, General of the Forest (previous life of Karador, Ghost Chieftain)
probably he is not judging
