    Derp, it was intended to have seance exile the card after you cast it from the grave (like aftermath, but the first half is a permanent.)

    Round 1:
    Salia’s Rebuttal 2U
    Instant {C}
    This spell costs 2 less to cast if it’s your turn.
    Counter target spell unless its controller pays 3.
    I think not.
    Feedback Actuator 0
    Artifact Creature - Servo {C}
    Whenever Feedback Actuator attacks and isn’t blocked, sacrifice it. If you do, draw a card.
    Salia: “Well, it’s made from scraps, I was rushed, and it can’t turn left.”
    Elwin: “So it won’t work?”
    Salia: “Oh, I never said that.”

    1(R/W)(R/W): Create a 1/1 colorless Servo artifact creature token. If it’s your turn, it enters the battlefield tapped and attacking. Otherwise you may have it block an attacking creature. Activate this ability only during combat.

    Trollish Response: (you don't cast lands)
    Vast Timberlands
    Land
    Vast Timberlands enters the battlefield tapped.
    As Vast Timberlands enters the battlefield, you may pay 1G. If you do, you may play an additional land this turn.
    T: Add G

    Less Troll Response:
    Tithe Thrull 1WB
    Creature - Thrull {R}
    The first time each opponent loses life each turn, that player may pay 1. If they don’t draw a card and Tithe Thrull deals 1 damage to you.

    Dromoka's BreathGW
    Instant (u)
    Dromoka's Breath deals 3 damage to target attacking or blocking creature.
    Target attacking or blocking creature gets +3/+3 until end of turn.
    The same beam of light fills friendly souls with warmth and burns the hostile ones
    Radiant Scaletender4W
    Creature - Dragon (r)
    Flash
    Flying
    At the end of each turn, put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control that has been dealt damage this turn.
    "Each of your scars will be covered by the scales of my brood" - Dromoka, translated from Draconic.
    3/4
    Good catch on the translated portion of the flavor text. I think the last ability needs to be "At the beginning of each end step, if a creature you control was dealt damage this turn, put a +1/+1 counter on it." Overall, this is a rather novel idea that fits right in with Dromoka's mechanics and themes. I would imagine this being GW, but I understand the restrictions barred that, but it should have still been something to avoid.
    Marchesa's Coronation WBR
    Sorcery (U)
    Destroy target creature. If that creature’s controller was the monarch, you become the monarch.
    “I thank the people of Fiora for my throne - especially Brago.”
    Table Manners
    Instant (U)
    Until the end of the turn, if target creature’s power or toughness would be increased, it is decreased by that much instead.
    “Some deem poisoning a coward’s strategy, unworthy of use. Yet, the pile of bodies I’ve made is just as tall as theirs.” - Marchesa
    You've missed the mana cost on your text card (saw it on the render) and unfortunately, you've missed the part of the prompt that required it to be a creature.
    Larion’s Research XXUU
    Sorcery (R)
    Draw X cards. Return up to X target instant or sorcery cards from your graveyard to your hand.
    The king of Neburron had tasked him with guarding the royal library. After it was burned down in an act of vandalism, he took it upon himself to rewrite down all the knowledge of the world and rebuild it.
    Incendiary Vandal 3RR
    Creature — Human Rogue (R)
    When Incendiary Vandal enters the battlefield, destroy all artifacts. For each permanent destroyed this way, Incendiary Vandal deals 2 damage to that permanent’s controller.
    “The Royal Library of Neburron was the jewel of our kingdom. May whoever burned it down also experience the pain of seeing what you love consumed by flames.”
    —Larion, Royal Librarian

    2/2
    Seeds of Innocence seems to indicate the the wording here would be "When Incendiary Vandal enters the battlefield, destroy all artifacts. Incendiary Vandal deals 2 damage to the controller of each of those artifacts." or at the very least, your wording should use artifact instead of permanent in the second half of the ability. I would have loved to see the flavor text attributed to the opening dedication or foreward of one of Larion's new books, it would add just a hint of humor, as well as serve to display how furious Larion is to call out someone in an academic writing.
    Miralda's Blasphemy 2BB
    Sorcery (Rare)
    Exile target creature an opponent controls and each other creature they control that share a type with it. That player loses life equal to the total number of creatures exiled this way and you gain that much life.
    "Our faith in you was misplaced, Elenda. Now we live for so much more!"
    Spawn of Ghalta 4G
    Creature - Dinosaur (Uncommon)
    Trample
    When Spawn of Ghalta dies, draw two cards.
    "From the blood of the sinful we earn repentance. But from the blood of the mighty, we gain true power."
    -Queen Miralda

    3/3
    Elegant design, I like that the death trigger still hold a bit of synergy with enrage. Miralda's quote here seems like it would work better on a removal spell, but it doesn't feel egregiously out of place here.
    Azoth's Draught UBG
    Instant (U)
    Until end of turn, target creature or planeswalker loses all abilities and becomes a green Ooze creature with base power and toughness 1/1, then destroy it.
    Trespassing upon Azoth's atelier is its own punishment.
    Faceless Assistant 2U
    Creature - Homunculus (U)
    When Faceless Assistant enters the battlefield, you may search your library for a sorcery or instant card and reveal it. If you do, shuffle your library and put that card on top of it.
    When Faceless Assistant dies, shuffle your library.
    "Long ago, I would sculpt them with bespoke features. I'd ascribe each a name and praise each task complete. I cannot remember why."
    - Azoth, the First Alchemist.

    1/3
    Extraneous shuffling effects is something the WotC are trying to move away from, and most of the time the death trigger on this will be just that. If this had had a "you may look at the top card of your library" type ability, I would have been all for it. The flavor text is really on-point and is actually my favorite of the round.
    Muldrotha's Grasp 2BGU
    Legendary Sorcery (M)
    Play up to one permanent card of each permanent type from your graveyard. (If a card has multiple permanent types, choose one as you play it.)
    Poison-filled Ooze GGG
    Creature- Ooze (C)
    Deathtouch
    Whenever ~ deals combat damage to a player, place a +1/+1 counter on it.
    "Eat this!" Muldrotha to Yargle
    4/4
    Flavor text on this is a big miss for me, Muldrotha doesn't seem one to talk much, let alone use spiderman-esk one-liners. Overall the mechanics of the card are fine, but the 4/4 seems a bit pushed, and awkwardly large for deathtouch.

    Missed Never being a card already, but IIRC, mark rosewater recently said that WotC doesn't currently have a stance on reusing split names on new combinations as long as they have the exact same text/cost for that half (So I could make Now//Never so long as the Never half read the same as Never//Return)

    Would (When you cast either half of this card, you may choose another player to cast a copy of the other.) be more clear?

    Now 1RR
    Sorcery {U}
    Choose up to two players. Each chosen player draws two cards then discard a card from their hand at random.
    //Synergize (When you cast either half of this card, you may choose another player to cast a copy of the other.)//
    Never 1BB
    Sorcery {U}
    Destroy target creature or planeswalker.

    Honestly, them being allied colors probably makes more sense, as I would anticipate battlebond II focusing on players having enemy colored decks

    • Draw two cards, then discard a card from your hand at random.

    Instant {R}
    Choose one —
    • Counter target spell unless its controller pays 2.
    • Tap target creature. It doesn’t untap during its controller’s next untap step.

    Synergize cards would have a ___ or ____ naming pattern (Now or Never, Rain or Shine, Trick or Treat, Make or Break, Hook or Crook, Rhyme or Reason, Sink or Swim, Ride or Die, ect.) I like the idea in the context of two-headed giant, but I also feel like they would shine in EDH/Archenemy/Planechase/Conspiracy type games as well.

    Koth's Call RR
    Instant (Rare)
    Search your library for up to two Mountion land cards and put them onto the battlefield with an erratic counter on each of them. Then shuffle your library. For as long as those lands have an erratic counter on them, they have “Whenever this land becomes tapped for mana, sacrifice it.”
    Ignoring the "Mountion" typo. This plays in some weird space for red in that it's sort of a ritual, but it also is land ramp (and very cheap land ramp at that). I see this getting abused with bounce lands/Hex Parasite effects. I don't think what this is really in red's slice of the pie, and I'm not sure that it should be added.
    Rhulor's Sowing 3GU
    Sorcery (R)
    Create a 1/3 green Treefolk creature token. Scry X, where X is the number of creatures you control, then reveal the top two cards of your library. Put all land cards revealed this way onto the battlefield tapped and all nonland cards into your hand.
    For each plane, a seed. From each seed, insight.
    The flavor text has me excited to meet this character, there is a strong implication that they are a planeswalker, and mechanically your card tells me that they either are a, or have a strong connection to, treefolk. Mechanics wise, You nailed this card feeling GU, we get a doubled up Coiling Oracle ETB after some good scrying, as well as a 1/3 body to boot. This reminds me of Grenzo's Rebuttal in that I'm not really sure why it isn't just a creature with an ETB ability rather that a token making sorcery (I do get that this round required an instant or sorcery.)
    Grim Captain's Exploration UB
    Sorcery (C)
    Choose up to three cards at random from your graveyard. Return each land card chosen this way to your hand. You may put any of the rest on top of your library in any order.
    Some crews are drawn not by treasure, but by those who sought treasure and failed.
    I feel like the Blue on this card isn't really justified except by the connection to pirates, the effect feels solidly BG (or even just mono-green), but that being said, it is an effect that I really do like, and I really appreciate that it can't give you dead land draws.
    Character: Mayael the Anima

    Chant of the Anima RGW
    Instant {R}
    Search your library for a creature card and reveal that card. Shuffle your library, then put the card in your hand or on top of your library.
    Until the end of your next turn, creature spells with power 5 or greater you cast cost 2 less to cast.
    The small nod to Mayael's ability by letting you drop the card on top of your library is nice, but I wish it just didn't give you the option to put it in your hand. The card already has a lot going for it, solid tutor.
    Boon of Zahid UU
    Sorcery (R)
    Choose an instant or sorcery card you own from outside the game with converted mana cost X or less and put it into your hand, where X is equal to the highest converted mana cost among artifacts you control.
    "You have earned one wish."
    I like this wish, it's cheap enough to be competitive, but has a hoop to jump through to keep it interesting. I see control players liking this.
    Oona's Trick U/B mana U/B mana U/B mana
    Sorcery (R)
    Name a color. Target opponent reveals their hand. For each card of the chosen color revealed this way, create a 1/1 blue and black Faerie Rogue creature token with flying.
    The name feels slightly off (I think trickery would have been a better fit) but other than that, this feels like a super solid card that would feel right at home in Lorwyn.

    Quote from Metallix87 »

    I'm using it for my custom Kamigawa sequel block. The set is centered on Tamiyo and her knowledge of the past, and trying to continue on the history and traditions of her world as Tibalt runs amok trying to get the denizens to forget the past and break the bond between spirits and mortals. Storyteller is the mechanic that represents the past.

    I might suggest an entirely different approach to this theme (though mine is on the parasitic side) and have cards that give you story or tale counters? This would function similarly to energy, but wouldn't be spent. Some cards might just be looking for you to have a threshold of N story counters, while others may count the total number you have (you could even have an alt win-con card for having a ton of them.) Additionally I would have cards in the set that would have some anti-story/tale counter abilities that make your opponents lose their counters (this should be attached to already decent cards, without much of a mana-cost bump as they need to not just be sideboard cards)
