Diamond. Both this and bridge were used in tournament decks, but back in the days of the older extended and standard, it was the fast combo kill enabler for a number of decks (most notably Sutured Ghoul builds).
The formatting for the Totem is wrong. I know this has been said before, but it is extremely important.
Gargoyle Totem
Artifact
Add to your mana pool.
:2mana::symr:: Gargoyle Totem becomes a 2/2 red Gargoyle creature until end of turn.
Gargoyle Totem get +0/+1 until end of turn. Play this ability only if Gargoyle Totem is a creature.
This card looks NOTHING like how it should! It is extremely likely it is a fake.
I would never give them that much credit. It might be true, and if it is, I'll be the first to say you called it (and some other guys) but that would be a monumental feat of intelligence and insight from them.
Wheel of Fate has Suspend. I am 90% sure that the picture is the one on the mini-site with the wheel coming through the haze in the background, and as it is merely a wrecked wheel of fortune; this is likely it.
Let us look at this move from a logical standpoint and try to determine truth from there.
Fact: Hydro has the Stamp of Doom in his sig now.
Fact: The old thread was locked (the one in the Rumor Mill)
Fact: The image was removed.
Fact: A new thread was opened in speculation
Assumed: Wizards is not smart enough to do any counterintelligence, at least not with the backing of the law on their side.
Conclusion: The Purple rarity symbol is something valuable to them that likely denotes 120 or so reprints, reprints of cards that are powerful or at least valuable enough to cause a fluctuation in the magic market.
So the question we must be asking, is what is being reprinted (I am relatively sure they are reprints) and how is it distributed?
As far as we know, there are no special booster packs or decks, so that means they are likely distributed in the packs.
If you read this site Anthony, then farewell and happy trails to you. I really enjoyed reading your articles, and wanted you to know you will be missed in the community.
I agree that the Time Walk variant needs to be a 1U sorcery spell, otherwise it is not the P9. I know that WotC as a whole has an unwarranted hatred of Vintage players, but they are not so inept as to completely disregard that fact.
The buyback is going to be something heavy, PROBABLY:
Buyback, Remove the top half of your library from the game.
Or something not easily repeatable.
It might even make the opponent take an extra turn, but that is difficult to word...
Buyback, skip your turn after the next.
Or something like that...
The exact date all depends on those interested. Once we have enough people, I will send out mass messages to see when people are available, then we will come up with a date from there.
I have posted this thread on a number of forums around the Magic community to see how many people total are interested. We want as many as possible, and it is open to all!
I know that everyone is tired of waiting around for the season to start, and you all have deck ideas bouncing around. I bet many of you also are tired of the idiots on MWS, and the janky decks that abound there.
Announcing the Pre-Season Extended Tournament.
It is time that Extended players get a taste of the metagame that we will be up against come the actual GP's and PTQ's. It would be tragic to have our extended talents rot away while waiting.
This is just a thread to gauge interest in a tournament. The basic format of the tournament is outlined below.
The Pre-Season Extended Tournament. Where. All matches would be done over MWS. Everyone would use a name identical to their own on the forums, and both players would report the outcome of their game. When: The Tournament would take place over the time of a week or so. Everyone would play their matches and advance. Whenever the next match can take place, it will be played out. Decks: Players are allowed one 60+ card deck (thank you Zulo) with a 15 card sideboard. A decklist is not required, but a deckcode is (this can be found using MWS). Decks cannot be altered mid tournament, a rule which will be enforced predominantly by the players. Prizes: The winner of the tournament will not only have boasting rights to put in their signature, but may be able to get a special prize courtesy of yours truly. This prize would be in the form of cards (maybe an extended Dual, a Jitte, something nifty like that). For those that do not win, its fun, its Magic, and it is play experience, something everyone needs.
Anyone that would be interested (This tournament would take place in September) should post on this thread. I will run an updated list of those that express interest. If we have a decent amount of players (16 or more would be great), then I will type out the matchups and we can get this ball rolling.
Any questions? Feel free to ask. Any comments? Definitely leave them here.

It may not be, but I doubt it.

No, that's a three card combo: the Cloudscraper is never played or in hand. I would definitely not qualify this as the insane 4 card combos.
Illusionist + Nomads + Reanimate
Spiritualist + Nomads + Starlity Sanctum
Personal favorite for current Extended and Standard:
Ashes of the Fallen + Ornithopter + Haakon, Stromgald Scourge + Blasting Station OR Grinding Station
Ashes names Knight. Thopter gets replayed infinitely. Station goes crazy. The end.

Other than that though, I like Wotc.

I really like that idea. After all, it takes 3 skeletons to turn back the clock on the picture. I think you might be onto something. It might even be.
Buyback: Return 3 creatures you control to owner's hand.

Jaya - 3
Ballard - 3
I wonder what other wacky legends we can find here!?
Saffi - 2
Eriksdotter - 2
There is NO other explanation for this in the orb.
That kills this already dubious rumor for good I'd say, unless Phage returns with a different name.
