I'm not trying to steal your thunder. It seems like you're suggesting I just close down this thread, which I'm not going to do. In any case I'm not asking people to just "give me cards," but rather help in the creative process. Besides I'm only planning on making a couple of cards per day and our imaginations are limitless, at least mine is. :p

I want to make a cycle of you get an emblem sorceries. Preferably one costing 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, in CMC. I'm going to have to think about it, but the white one will most likely be:

    White Emblem Maker W
    Sorcery
You get an emblem with "At the beginning of your upkeep you gain 1 life."

    Gotta think about the others.

Maybe the green one will make tokens. Red could ping creatures. Blue could bounce. Black could be... well I donno. I really want to make it like a Phyrexian Arena.
The emblem cycle is interesting, and I think you should go for it, but just keep in mind that these emblems are a lot harder to affect than virtually anything else in the game. So, if you're going to have something cheap that gives you an emblem, I suggest you be warry of what that emblem actually does, and picture how it would play in an actual game, not really being able to have an answer for it, and balance it accordingly.

Or rather, if you're going to have cards that affect emblems, why not have VERY few of them, and make them ridiculously expensive? Also, instead of getting rid of them, why not have spells that edit them?

    Omnipotent Abduction 4UURR
    Sorcery (R)
Gain control of up to one emblem target player controls.

The reason I left out "target emblem" is because.. well, I dont think emblems can be targeted. :p Not quite sure though. They're not permanents, they're not on the battlefield...

Ok, how do these look? (I wont post the actual images, just the text)

    Fierce Deity's Mask 2WWBB
    Artifact - Equipment (MR)
When a creature enters the battlefield under your control, you may attach this to that creature.
Equipped creature becomes a white and black Legendary Creature in addition to it’s other types.
Whenever equipped creature attacks, you may return up to two target creature cards from any graveyard and put them onto the battlefield under your control tapped. When those cards enter the battlefield, each opponent loses life equal to their converted mana costs and you gain that much life.
    Equip—2:symwb::symwb:

    Majora's Mask 2UUBB
    Artifact - Equipment (MR)
When a creature enters the battlefield under your control, you may attach this to that creature.
Equipped creature becomes a blue and black Legendary Creature in addition to it’s other types.
Whenever equipped creature attacks, you may return up to three target non-land, non-creature permanents to their owner’s hands, and you may destroy up to two target creatures your opponents control.
    Equip—2:symbu::symbu:

I know they're still a bit on the wordy side, but at least they dont give the creature a ridiculous amount of abilities, right?

Im reworking the cards right now to be more "useable" and actually follow the color pie. I'll post them up when I'm finished.

    Too many abilties on both.

One of the biggest mistakes made when attempting to create cards from other fandoms is trying to cram every ability into the card.

    For example:

    Superman (cost)
    legendary creature -- kryptonian
    flying, indestructible, flash
T: deal 3 damage to target creature or player
T: target creature does not untap next untap step
Vulnerable to kryptonite (When ~ takes damage from a kyptonite source, ~ loses indestructible until end of turn.)
    Vulnerable to magic

See, that's simply ridiculous. When you see a mage in magic, you don't list each and every spell it knows in the story, just one or two abilities. I'm pretty sure story-wise prodigal sorcerer knows a lot more spells than just dishing out 1 damage, but one ability is enough.

Likewise, both fierce deity's mask have 4 completely unrelated abilities. Sure, it might reflect what it actually does in Majora's mask, but for magic its isn't that great of a design.

Hm.. I see your point, but I did actually design the cards with their abilities working together in mind. :p

For instance, on the Fierce Deity's Mask, the double strike isnt just thrown in there. When it deal damage to a player, (whether it's combat damage or not.. I intentionally left that out so you can use the creatures new tap ability) you can exile a permanent. With Double Strike, that's essentially two permanents you can exile, while also giving the creature a huge boost in damage output.

Same pretty much goes for Majora's Mask, just with a focus on creatures. The First Strike helps it deal it's damage without risking the creature's own life, and therefore exile the creature that chooses to block it. But, if you choose not to attack with it, you can choose instead to exile up to three creatures basically with it's tap ability.

Taking into account what you mentioned about the cards having a ridiculous amount of abilities, I suppose they can deal without the +3/+3 bonuses, and just have the Double/First strike, tap abilities, and exiling abilities.

Also, as for it's being able to equip, thats why I included the first part on each card, so that it can easily attach to a creature when it comes into play.

The way I thought of it was like this: Someone comes along, sees the mask, and puts it on. They gain these amazing abilities. They play around a bit, but soon they want to take it off and give it to someone else, but it's not that easy. The power of the masks make it very difficult (and costly) to remove. My attempt at adding a bit of hidden flavor.. :p

I'd have the Fierce Deity Mask be insanely powerful, but incredibly difficult to even play. You had to give up all your masks to get it, after all. As it is, it seems sort of lame. Lots of raw power, but not very interesting. For funnies, perhaps: "Equipped creature becomes a 8/8 Legendary Warrior named Fierce Deity with an assortment of awesome abilities." Majora's Mask suffers from a lot of the same issues.

    For funnies:

    Blast Mask 2
    Artifact - Equipment (R)
Equipped creature has ",T, Unequip Blast Mask: Blast Mask deals 2 damage to each creature and each player."
    Equip 2

    Bremen Mask 3
    Artifact - Equipment (U)
Whenever equipped creature attacks, put a 1/1 white Chicken creature token onto the battlefield tapped and attacking.
    Equip 3

Also, yeah. MSE is a pretty popular program. Welcome aboard. Kekeke

Not that don't appreciate your criticism, I do, but what about the masks seem "not very interesting"?

And thanks for the welcome. ^^ I didn't really design the cards to be 100% flavorful or just reference the in-game items. I just took the names and images, and made what I though would be two pretty powerful Legendary Equipment cards. The names, images, and I guess even the mana costs are changeable.

So I guess what I SHOULD be asking is: As STAND-ALONE cards, how well are they designed, and what suggestions would you make?

Twitter confirmed that she was actually.
    And the flavor behind her, according to the description is that she "..sways dominion over the older creatures of the sea -- such as krakens and leviathans." So I think something like this might be more in flavor;
    1UG
+1 Reveal the top card of your library. If it's a land, put it onto the battlefield. Otherwise, put that card into your hand. (Coiling Oracle)
-2 For each creature an opponent controls that opponent may pay [1] or tap that creature.
-8 Put four 8/8 blue Leviathan creature tokens with Islandwalk onto the battlefield.
    2

I wanted to incorporate more creature-y things, but it's hard when all the types that she's supposed to "sway" are all big and beefy. Also, I don't know how I feel about the middle one, here. I'd like to have something that she defends herself with... But in UG that's kinda difficult.

I really like the first ability, but the second...

    Maybe:

    2UU

+1 Reveal the top card of your library. If it's a land, put it onto the battlefield. Otherwise, put that card into your hand.
-2 Target land an opponent controls becomes an Island. (potentially locking them out of being able to cast anything?)
-8 Tap all creatures target opponent controls. Creatures you control have Haste and Islandwalk.
    3

    Eh? Maybe?

I know it seems like she should have an ability that spawns some sort of Kraken or Leviathan, but I figured this would suffice.

Agreed with hyperwater. They're good powerful cards, just a little too inexpensive. Try adding an additional 1 or 2 to some of them.

I had just recently finished playing through Majora's Mask again, and it inspired me to create some Magic cards based on the masks within the game. So, I thought why not start off with the two most powerful, the Fierce Deity's Mask, and Majora's Mask itself!

    (ignore the pictures..)

Do you think they'd be playable? Worthy of Legendary status? Worded correctly? Anything I can do to make them more balanced? (I purposely made them similar)

To those wondering (not sure how many people would know here...I'm really new to the forums), I used the program Magic Set Editor, which can be downloaded for free here: http://magicseteditor.sourceforge.net/

And for those wondering who the artist is for the Majora's Mask card, their username on deviantart is twilight-wolf.
