Probably because it's a game that doesn't need to rely so much on trying to bring random people in that watch TV. It is passed around as quickly as VD to the people that would enjoy it anyway.
Prices are pretty steady at my LGS. They've got cameras downstairs, so if you do happen to move something from a binder and it seems like a great deal, you might get double checked. Other than that, prices are steady for the boxes of singles they have. Although there are plenty of players willing to manually sort through singles for them, which is how prices typically get consolidated.
Capital punishment is an unfortunate necessity in our world. If you have the gall to murder someone or Emperor-forbid multiple people in cold blood. You deserve to be put down like a wild animal, because we have no reason to believe you wouldn't do it again.
If the killing occurred because of self-defense or other extraordinary circumstances, clearly some prison time could be more than enough to punish them.
It is in no way a necessity.
Also, did you just propose we put people in jail for self-defense?
Civilian killing is killing, regardless of the circumstance behind it. If you are defending yourself and there is a reasonable expectation that your life is in danger, you should be able to get off free. But there should always be an attempt to take down an aggressor using non-lethal means beforehand.
What would you have us do with an individual that has intentionally caused the death of more than 3 innocents?
As was previously mentioned, I believe it was because it was a rather virgin path for movie makers to take. Uwe Boll was one of the uh... pathfinders through this, buying the cheap rights to make a movie and producing filth. This at least introduced the idea to the mainstream directors/producers. I think now that we have broken through the first bad eggs we can progress the creation of decent movies based on game franchises.
And then in the case of the Resident Evil series, once they learn they can get away with royally screwing the lore of a franchise, and keep making money off of it, suddenly you have a yearly release milking money from everyone that hopes it might get better.
I've always been a fan of the Thieves World setting. The entire place is an existentialist's wet dream. Something about the dark and gritty setting just feels right. Even though plenty of questionable things occur in the novels themselves, I guess that can be handwaved since it 80's, where you could still buy a decent paperback for less than 5 dollars.

When I am speaking, I intuitively use "then" and "than" correctly. But sometimes when I am writing something out, I manage to fudge them up and switch them. Then everyone in the room manages to correct me and beat me with switches until I have learned my mistake.
Hi, I don't want to be a bother, but I was wondering if I could ask you for a signature when time allows for it. I want you to be as creative as you would like with it, I just have two requests, I would like it to have Jace on it (any incarnation is fine, I want you to sort of go wild with it) and the text "I will decide when I allow you to resolve a spell." Thank you in advance should you help me out, I hope I'm not too much of an inconvenience. If you need more guidance, feel free to ask me, although I'm horribly indecisive.
Ah, I suppose I should have been more clear. They are the brattish children of respectable navy personnel that also play at the store.
You can hardly taste the red bull.
Which is probably a good thing.
