i have a Tangle Wire with 4 fade counters on it and a Smokestack with 2 soot counters on it and 2 active Goblin Welder in play my opponent has 4 swamp in play i end my turn and he starts his turn can he untap his swamps and cycle a card before he has to sac to the stack or tap to the wire?
i was also thinking, Planar Chaos would be the most oppertune time to give us enemy colored fetch lands, which would be really cool though not necessary
now i doubt VERY GREATLY that this would EVER happen, but i figured speculation is fun so why not speculate... since Planar Chaos is altered and "weird" spells off the color pie ( i.e. Black Time Walk variant and black counterspell variant ) i was thinking... what if they made a blue ritual? ( i.e. Seething Song, Dark Ritual ) thoughts?
this did not happen to me but to a freind of mine, we are both in the military, he was deployed to Iraq last year and his wife decided to divorce him while he was overseas. Well he had this binder of cards.... to name a FEW ( i have seen this binder and... wow ) he had a signed Ancestral Recall from unlimited all the Guru Lands Signed by Teresa Neilson, a full page of misprinted and miscut FoW including a whole page of perfectly good ones, a full page of Foil BoP's from 7th all of the promos and judge promos from urza's saga up to the present ( including Balance, and a few others i cannot remember ) and other goodness, all of it got sold by his ex-wife on ebay while he was deployed.
ok here is the question my opponent has an Arena in play and the mana to activate it, i declare my attack phase, he says ok and passes priority to me, i declare attackers, he says ok, so i attack he then proceeds to use the Arena's ability to tap one of his creatures and then tap one of my tapped attackers and have them deal damage, is this legal?
ok i have got a question about Norin the Wary. can he attack or not? as it says whenever a player plays a spell or a creature attacks he gets removed so can he himself attack? thanks in advance

just a thought on the whole pendulum thing: While looking at the two pictures that R_E posted, you can definately notice that in Time Walk the skeletons are walking Forward, in the new pic there is ( to me anyway ), a definate feeling of Backwards, especially when looking at them together like that.

What i think is really stupid is that when the thread that was entitled " Why does Kamigawa suck so bad? " or something like that became a spike bashing thread, and then there is this thread, becoming a spike bashing thread, the original poster wanted to know who was with him in thinking the set was a failure or who thought otherwise. Now to me that means that he wanted opinions so if Cynical Squirrel and SRDude think the set blows it is their god given right to think that and post it. I am not a spike i play casual 90% of the time and the other 10% i actually do spend time in FNM's and local constructed tournys etc.. however if a spike doesnt like a given set and voices his opinion, the casual player and the johnny and the timmy and the vorthos has no right to get pissed and start calling them stupid spikes etc... its not fair to them as people, you have your opinion and they have theirs, let it go. Oh and as far as the set goes i dont hate it but it did dissapoint me somewhat. Well thats just my 2cents
it is pretty bad that things like this happen, when i get back from Turkey in about 6 weeks i will make sure to keep an eye open for any of these cards. However i can agree with some of the posters that leaving was a bad idea, i dont ever get up and leave my cards unless i can have my eyes on them at all times because i have been the victim of theft with this game and lemme tell you it sucks granted not as much money was stolen but it sucks nonetheless. still i feel for them and will definately keep my eye out for the perpetrator(s) invlolved and if by some small chance happen by these cards will gladly return them to the owners.
i predict another " Magic is dying " thread will be started after TimeSpiral is completely spoiled along with another " Is TimeSpiral really worth it? " thread BEFORE the set is completely spoiled, honestly i should start putting money on when these threads pop up cuz i would make money.

i dont know Mr. Cranford enough to judge him and like others in this thread have already stated, the only thing that he did do that i disliked was the treatment of Beard. Now with that i do not know the whole story behind it so i will not comment because i was not there. The recent artwork has indeed been awesome, and yes i miss a lot of the old school too, RKF was and still is my favorite Magic artist, when they kept his art for Rootbreaker Wurm i was happy beacause i was waiting to see a foil version of one of his arts.
And to Jeff M. My favorite peice of yours is the Horn of Greed, and to a lesser extent Auratog awesome stuff man
