City of the Souls
Legendary land T: Add W to your mana pool. 1WW, T: Exile target creature from your graveyard. Put a 1/1 white spirit token with flying and lifelink onto the battlefield. Where the souls of the fallen warriors find their eternal rest.
I'm trying to not make a land with ability to cast afterlife or exile.
City of Spirits
Legendary land
Whenever a creature leaves the battlefield, you may gain 1 life. 1W, T: Target creature gains flying and lifelink until end of turn. 1W, T: Exile target creature from your graveyard. Put a 1/1 white spirit token with flying and lifelink onto the battlefield. Where the souls of the fallen warriors find their eternal rest.
Edited. I think that the first ability is out of context, because the land isn't related to angels.
Suppose that in 20 years they release over 10k new cards. What's going to happen to formats that encompass all sets?
Rephrasing it: every year hundreads of new cards are released and dozens of others are reprinted or remade in functional form, doesn't this causes legacy for instance, to become more and more complicated over time?
Manashift: (whenever a spell is casted, this permanent becomes of that spell's colors until it leaves the battlefield. If multiple spells are casted, the last one to resolve determine this permanent's colors.)
Manashield: (whenever a spell is casted, this permanent gains protection from that spell's colors until end of turn. If multiple spells are casted, the last one to resolve determine this permanent's color protection.)
It's been inspired by sunburst. I was imagining some storyline based on that colorshift thing. This could allow for enchantments that have color protection and/or change color in game.
First strike.
Whenever a spell is cast, reflecting knight gains protection from that spell's colors until end of turn.
- His shield reflects the downfall of his enemies -

Dragon of Mirrors4UW
Creature - Dragon
Flying.
Whenever a spell is cast, dragon of mirrors gains protection from that spell's colors until end of turn. UW: ~ becomes the color of your choice until end of turn.
- Many mages tried to tame it. Not a single one has succeded. -
Why do they pack many different cards per sheet? Why not print one card per sheet?
Or, if you really want ot add a delay, use counters.

He is a mage that shifts from one color to another. That's the only trick he knows.
