Am I missing something? Between Despise, 5-6 MD removal (go for the throat, doomblade) and Phyrexian Obliterator which basically reads as (protection from creatures)... whats the problem? thats at least 15 cards that beat valakut, that they cant answer. Tec edge on the sideboard with a few more specific removal spells, and valakut shoulnt have a chance.
If my opponent has revealed cards to me through in-game means Goblin Guide or otherwise, am I allowed to keep track of the revealed cards by writing them down on paper, and then crossing them off as he/she plays them?
Thanks for your help. As soon as I re-read mimic vat, i realized that once the card got exiled, it wouldnt have any memory of its existence before just like you said. Thanks for the reference though.
Yes.. but mimic vat says a copy of the card, not a copy of the creature. A spell is a card, so a kicker is an attribute of a card? No?.. If im copying the creature, then absolutely wouldn't get the kicker. But if im copying the card, and the card was kicked.... why wouldnt i use its ability? Could you point me in the direction of the rules for verification please?
Is a paid kicker an imprintable attritbute? Example...
Mimic Vat and Goblin Ruinblaster.. If I kicked the ruinblaster when I cast it, and then I imprint it onto mimic vat when it dies, if I activate mimic vat will i be able to destroy a land?
Another Viridian Corrupter question. What if I bring the corrupter into play via Birthing Pod With Corrupter's ability waiting to go onto the stack, when will my opponent have priority? Lets say he is holding Into the roil, would he be able to bounce one of his own artifacts before corrupter's ability resolves? Thus making me target one of my own artifacts, should I have one and he doesn't? Or since viridian corrupter as a spell isn't going on to the stack, just his ability his, therefore target is already announced and the ability will check again before resolution and just fizzle?
What if a double strike creature attacks aiming at a planeswalker when there are no creatures to block it? First strike damage at the planeswalker, combat damage fizzles? Or hits the face?
When do I fetch my equipment? The placement of the abilities on the stack seems counter-intuitive. Stoneforge enters the battlefield via pod's ability, but the pod ability hasn't finished resolving.
Do I shuffle my deck, offer the opponent a cut, then search for my equipment? When the pods ability has finished resolving, stoneforge is already on the battlefield.
Or does the SFM ability trigger at the same time as "then shuffle your deck."? In which case I can choose to search for the equipment, shuffle my deck, offer my opponent a cut, resolving SFM's ability and then shuffle my deck again and offer another cut resolving the pod's ability?
My opponent is at 1 life, and has a vanilla 1/1 creature in play with an equipped Sylvok Lifestaff. I have a Perilous Myr.
It seems to me that both of the graveyard triggers would happen similtaneously. I lost the game because I wasn't able to pull the trigger on his few remaining turns when we went into overtime (5 turns.)

Can I use Spellskite to force my opponent's Phyrexian Metamorph to become a copy of Spellskite? It doesn't say target anywhere on the metamorph....
