Everything that has been said is really on point. Run 2-4 of them, the deciding factor being what none instant/sorc do you run. Personally I ran 4 and now I'm down to 3 since curse x2 is MB with a lily and 3 black suns. But when and if the curses can come out I'll probably go back to 4.
I run 3 fortress' and 2 isolated to support 3 o-ring mb and 1 purge sideboard. It was all the white I needed to get out of sticky situations and turn some losses into wins.
I don't know what the BFD is about zombies. I smashed it hardcore at Baltimore. And my buddy couldn't beat me in playtesting. It's probably the easiest deck to lock out of the game with 2 resolved curses, after black sunning them into oblivion.
Okay, I changed some things. I don't like Gather the Townsfolk much to be honest, am I nuts?
I did the same thing, cutting the townsfolk. But, looking at it's interaction with champion of the parish I'm putting them back in and adding champs. I run 3 alters reap so I'll be cutting them for the champs. I really hate the idea of running three or less removal spells that some lists are posting.
I've been lurking this thread since spoilers and now it's time to post this decks fnm matchups.
Round: 1 heartless summons
Win 2-1
Rounds 2: MBI
Win 2-0
Round 3: RDW
2-1
Round 4: g/w hums
Loss 0-2
Round 5: token township
Win 2-1
The card disadvantage this deck produces for your opponent is amazing. I survived ratches and days with ease if you have an anthem and don't overextend with spells. Just wanted to post a quick rundown. Thanks.
If I copy a Geralfs messenger with a Phantasmal Image, and the image dies what happens on the board? Does it get a +1/+1 and I can copy anything on the field again?

I play a less powerful version of this for my shops peasant day. Dropping 2x golden urn turns 1-3 is really funny. I wonder if it can help as much in a deck full of dragons and metamorphs.
Mono black midrange with obliterators and lashwrithes is very strong. I played against it for 1st place at my fnm last week. Vs my rdw. I just think it has a poor matchup vs red. oblit just looks strong vs red but it's not. They are usually in Killshot range if they attack with oblit or they use it as a wall and just get burned out. And like it's been said dismember in most decks gives black less identity
The koth is kind of irrelevant in your deck as a 1 of. He is a pro card when he shows but in this build it's too unreliable. I also like MB dismember best case kills the baneslayer that WILL end your game, worst case a wall. Spellkite... You need 4 shrines 8 fetches and personally I'm a kilnfiend fan
