Except that it can because Emrakul has pro colored spells, not abilities. That's why O-ring/Detention Sphere can hit because they are triggered abilities
What people don't seem to realize is that Twitch (and YouTube) are intentionally causing lag through using this system because there servers are being overloaded. So their fix to it is to cache the streams which lightens their load, but causes viewer stuttering, instead of upgrading the servers to handle the traffic.
it's probably Twitch. is there any stupidly huge League of Legends crap going on?
Starcraft has NA WCS going on at 39k viewers. The highest viewed stream on LoL is Froggen doing ranked games at 17k viewers.
As for the open, I'm liking the AJ/Ceddy duo. While AJ can come off as a little condescending, Ceddy balances it out in my opinion.
My local meta has a constant of Burn, Goblins, Eggs, R/G Tron, Twin, Martyr-Proc, and a couple brewers (my favorite one is the Death's Shadows' guy) Of course, when people come from out of town, I'll see Jund, Scapeshift, Affinity, Melira Pod, and UWr midrange.
Agreeableness with the banning method of the format thus far: Scale 3
Question 1: With the latest bans targeting Jund for being a dominant deck, some players have had their confidence shaken in the format, believing that any deck that does well will get hit with bannings. What is the criteria the DCI uses to establish that a deck is too dominant?
Question 3: Are their plans to introduce cards that punish a manabase for using nonbasic lands stronger than what is in the current Modern pool?
Still run Leyline of Sanctity, and that's the main target. The only other relevant target is spirit link/lifelink, but it is mitigated (somewhat) by Skullcrack.
Splinter Twin.
Irrelevant to the matchup. You are already boarding in Torpor Orb and Rakdos Charm to slow them down, and doesn't stop Kiki kill.
Prismatic Omen.
Two problems. First, Omen isn't really a part of most scapeshift decks. Second, the better target in that matchup is Leyline of Sanctity, and the only way they can use it is to mull aggressively into it.
Another one where Leyline of Sanctity is the main enchantment you want to kill in that MU.
I guess my main point is the 'sit in hand" argument is a non-factor when the real enchantment you wanna deal with is Leyline of Sanctity on Turn 0 and it's better to kill it and have a bear than have a bear, and wait for it to come down.
With War Priest, you tend to sit on him until you need him. With Apparition you can drop it and swing, even if there isn't any enchantments you want to get rid of. If there is, he still does his job.
But the only reason you need enchantment removal is for leyline, preferrably on turn 0. What other enchantments is modern viable that is relevant to remove?
Though I haven't been exposed to a lot of the "Tier 1" Generals (my main playgroup discovered EDH a couple of years ago, there's another one that will come down on occasion, they're more advanced) the main ones that get everyone targeting them are Zur and Jhoria. There are plenty of annoying ones, like Karador, Sharuum and Azami, but I don't mind them.
Will be going to Kansas City, MO with a few friends. If it's cold (like 40 or below) I will be wearing a blue adidas hoody. Otherwise, I will be wearing a blue Big Daddy T-shirt
Pithing Needle recursion could be a problem (Bouncing with the stick or some other form) and I'm thinking MUC could definitely use that to their advantage. I'm wondering what happens when control of the needle changes. Does the new controller get to name a different card or is it a "comes into play" effect?
well to me on the whole blood moon vs sowing salt issue, i am for blood moon. while sowing salt does hurt the mana bad by ripping out a part of their much-needed urzatron, getting four mana is kinda a stretch. and by that time we can sowing salt, they can TaN for whatever they want. (most choose angel/abunas, that messes me up more than trike/meph from my experience) blood moon, however, can be cast a turn earlier and fits the general curve. If they brought in naturalizes, then that sets them back 1-2 turns, but if they didn't, all they have is the kidney stone and they have to ramp up to 8 mana to both play it and pop it in the same turn, because with 7 arti-hate cards, i can often blow up the stone and my blood moon still is intact. but this is from my experience, and if sowing salt is better to you, by all means go for it.
Overall, it is very fast and consistant. I don't like the idea of equipment in here, because it slows down the deck. I much rather go for burning a speedbump then giving my guy a stick or sword and it end up getting hit by the speedbump.
EDIT: yes i meant mogg sentry not fanatic. fixed it

As for suppression field, I almost forgot about it. Yes, we can no longer use DRS/GLM, but it is pretty relevant vs most of the field.

Rakdos Charm is a better way of handling storm than killing their Pyromancer's Ascension.

Obviously, I would like to resolve Garruk, Gideon, or a Batterskull on Turn 3 and make my opponent's gameplan harder, however, Turn 4 wouldn't be bad.
My sideboard looks like:
1 Beast Within
1 Day of Judgment
2 Naturalize
3 Act of Aggression
2 Acidic Slime
3 Dismember
3 Spellskite
It's a work in progress, I know.
