Thought i would add to this if you attack with only one of them in the first combat phase to get an additional combat phase then attack with the other it will give you a 3rd combat phase while also untapping your creatures in the 1st and 2nd combat phases.
My question is, does its affect negate Pain Seer? I currently play the Orzhov Aggro version of white weenie, and the wording on this says draw a card, while the wording on pain seer just says reveal then add. In the rules, are these two separate entities?
Nope as you do not draw a card with pain seer. You would get the card from pain seer and draw your card for the turn like normal.
This is not great, 1UW for +1/+1 flying is weak. Getting multiple heroic triggers is maybe helpful, but 3 mana for a +1/+1 counter is VERY weak.
Does have interesting combo with Ajani's chosen
Any time a creature ETB, you may pay 1UW any number of times, for each time you did target creature gets a +1/+1 counter and put a 2/2 token out.
With Champion of Iroas, that now only costs UW. Still doubt it's even close to playable unless it gets serious abuse of "whenever aura/enchantment ETB" and heroic. A playable card in Limited as repeated heroic enabler.
This is actually likely to be a very strong card as you can just throw it on an early drop to get damage and just return it and play it later to give a better creature evasion. The best part about this is it gives you the option to not wait to play it on a creature you want to have evasion and just play it the first chance you get.
Wow, that's creepy as hell. Looking forward to it though. Also, calling it now - Liliana as the face of M16.
Ya but realistically with core sets they have never printed new versions back to back they've always given each of them a minimum of 2 years in core set.
How is the only home for a 3 drop 3/3 that has hexproof and gets bigger as your opponents play spells going to be bant hexproof?
Witchstalker while yes will shine while bant hexproof is in standard but it will be played in decks other than hexproof because it will be hard to deal with.
That would push Chandra quickly to 5 versions within the span of two sets. I don't think that will happen. I mean Liliana was the fastest to gain 2 additional versions but even then Dark Ascension and Avacyn did come out before M13.
Liliana was in fact not the fastest to get 2 versions that is held by garruk who got a new version in m12 then immediately another version in innistrad. Where liliana got a version in innistrad and then 3 sets later in m13 got a new version.
Wizards is not afraid to give 1 planeswalker 2 versions in back to back sets however it's very unlikely that they will imo.
You can get yourself in range of burn sure, but what I'm saying is you can always cast it for any amount if your life is > 3, because you can float the mana and revelation in response to the burning earth triggers.
Didn't think about it that way so i guess you're right. Also noticed i did some math wrong in my previous comment. However it doesn't stop how powerful this effect is compared to mana barbs since you can make this easily one sided and I can see this being played over hellrider for the time hellrider has left simply because this will stay in play and is a lot harder to remove than hellrider is.
Keep in mind you can't lock out a Sphinx's revelation unless your opponent is at 3 or less life.
Oops misread what you said but technically it locks revelation out a little bit higher than that because you're taking 3 - X and drawing X cards so you can potentially put your self in lethal range with it.
I'm amazed people think this is a side board only card. This format is dominated by multicolored decks running the best creatures/control. There are very few decent decks that are running basics so having this main board in an aggressive mono red or gruul deck imo will be insane. attack with efficient or hasty guys up to T4 then slam this and suddenly your opponent has no way to get out of reach instantly to recover. Come m14 i will probably play a gruul aggro deck wit 2-3 of this main board and watch as people complain about this card ruining them because they tapped out to answer my board on t4 and then slammed this when they were tapped out.
At least I can take a small bit of spiteful satisfaction in blue losing it's weird, undeserved "clone removal". When something manages to hit the field, it should be very difficult to remove with a mono-blue deck.
This should not change based on wether something is Legendary.
clone removal was expensive and sorcery speed.....

That also isn't a dual land.
If only he wasn't on the reserved list.
