good and evil are just persuasive words, used to describe which side of an issue somebody wants you to stand on.
many people who are members of so- called terrorist organizations believe with a decent amount of reasonable backup that America and Democracy are "Evil" and should be attacked and destroyed.
I don't think good and evil are any harder to distinguish than normal, it's just the average person is better at looking at things from multiple perspectives. maybe.
That's some discussion on the list, the pilot shows up and explains his philosophy, links to a tournament report, all the good stuff is over there
I'm a little iffy about linking like that, plz tell me if it's a rude thing to do.
I do it cuz there SO MUCH good info among those couple pages.
I've been playing the list and Darkblast is pretty awesome, and by the way Ichorid can have a Death Count of 13 with this list (awesome number)
Darkblast Saves Ichorid From Swords to Plowshares.
Darkblast allows you to attack with Ichorid and not lose bridges. (kill ichorid in response to block, not dealing damage)
Killing Ichorid is the most important use of Darkblast IMO.
Darkblast is bossmaster as a discard outlet too against folk, if they have a creature in play (cursecatcher especially) it gets to the grave, and Dredge 3 sucks, but you basically just recur the Blast until u get a real dredger into the graveyard somehow or Dredge one up. (it's bad if this needs to happen, but having the possibility is Da Bomb)
Darkblast also is a random win against Steppe-Lynx.dec
kill goblin welder, often kill mother of runes
Dark Confidant.
by the way, the New Landstill is NOT the old landstill. it runs like MM, spell snare, counterspell, force of will maindeck. games are not unwinnable but tend to be pretty difficult.
Shusher is the board of choice, but watch out for swords to plowshares, try to bait it with guides and Grims if you can.
but yeah, new landstill is pretty much a new deck, it's only called landstill cuz it runs factory and standstill
and on top of that cut two deep analysis, or a deep and a roar of the wurm for the 2 quiet speculations to come back in, as then you can more effectively control what you flashback, flexing to the needs of the moment.
Right now I'm running Iona as my only target in a build with 2 dread return and 4 Ichorid, the reason I do this is that I generally reanimate trolls against aggro-control(which is popular in my meta) and against aggro (they have to deal with 3-15 zombies, a troll, and ichorids next turn if i dread return grave troll) and there's enough glacial chasms and moats in my area that a game 1 Flying Fattie is well worth it. faulty reasoning?
what I often see is FoW+Goyf decks of their endless varieties as most popular by far, followed by some combination of Merfolk, Zoo, affinity, Tendrils, Burn, Lands or Enchantress each commonly being played by 1-2 people in approximately 15-20 man tournaments.
also,
personally i'm very glad about any discussion about Dread return targets, # of Therapies, Ichorids, Bloodghasts or not.
even though all these things are discussed over and over again
as a new player having lots of different people saying similar things helps immensely in my understanding of the card choices
these are especially fun with Riku since they can be copied
