I think the easiest to program would probably be unity. I know Dave Sirlin's Yomi runs in browser off of Unity with a simple interface. Determining how the AI acts would probably be pretty tricky if you're not experienced with it so good luck with that endeavor.
Thanks for that; I'll need it
I'm thinking I should just download MSE and draft with myself. Trouble is I don't want to make Magic... there's other plugins, right?
Lackey ccg is hard to use but very effective. I've been able to make custom card games with it before, but it took a bit of practice.
I've got the time to learn it, but it does seem difficult and the interface is a bit complicated.
Is there an option to play against yourself? Not Solitaire mode
I like headley's idea. I've used MSE before (still do), but I'm not sure if there's any good programs for playing against yourself. I've looked through but the best I could find was LackeyCCG, and I'm unsure how it works. I wouldn't want to print out cards.
I've always wanted to make some kind of card game, and play it off against myself. Thing is, I'm not good with programs, and apart from Set Editor to make (non-Magic) cards, I'm not sure how to put out the rest.
It drags me down because I've always wanted to do this, but don't have the knowledge/tools to do it.
Lessons can help because they can help you in your technique. If you started off with bad technique at first, it can take years to learn it the proper way (stuff like holding the pick, positioning your wrists, etc).
For learning scales and stuff: Do you want to grow as a musician, or just play chords forever?
Yeah, maybe, but only if they were jazz/classical guitar lessons (not a whole lot from where I am)
Of course I want to grow as a musician; and I do know some scales, and how to pull off random licks. But I'm not the type of person who likes showing off when playing, y'know what I mean? Most people don't seem to like the guitar players I like.
Also, I really, really want some effects pedals, preferably a delay to start off with. Any advice?
And depending on how one starts could also lead to years of relearning the stuff,
friend started the wrong way (how to hold the hands and to do the cords)
It worked for some years when he did slow stuff and accoustics,
but once he changed to faster stuff and metal he hit a barrier because his wrong style didn´t allow him to do that,
he had to relearn a lot,
Traing is nothing stupid, just because there are some guys out there, who, by luck or talent, where able to do it without it.
So basically you're saying I need lessons, right? I'm getting confused
Either way, it wouldn't help; I started off wrong, and it took me a while at the start to get barre chords right, but I haven't heard a guitar player in my area sound like me so that's good enough
Oh yeah, thanks for the tips on scales and stuff, but would a rhythm player need that type of knowledge?
I've joined a band recently, doing rhythm guitar and vocals. I'm fine with singing and playing, but I think my guitar finnese is lacking.
I've never taken lessons, apart from the occasional online lesson. I've only been playing for 1 and a half years now, but it's good enough to be in a band.
Anybody have any advice on sharpening up? So far, I know most chords (open, power and barre), arpeggios, modes and some scales.
Sun is out today
People have gone
But I'm stuck inside
Sanity's hanging by a thread
Made of water but thicker than steel
That's how I feel
Lounging out in the scene
Flicking through a magazine
The pages all tell really beautiful lies
I'm sick of this town
I'm sick of this house
I'm sick.

New Day
The dawn of a new day
Fills me with hope
The dawn of a new day
Fills me with glee
A new day, new life.
Watch as the sun peaks
Above the mossy hill
It's radiant arms
Touch your skin.
I am your sun
You are my earth.

I once knew a guy who knew a girl
And boy was she lightning fast
She had boys lining up just to see her face
As she moved from the first to the last
Now, I ain't gonna tell you this girl's name
Cause then you might just be fooled
Trust me, you don't want to end up doing what I did
I'd be far too cruel
Now I know I probably never went too far
But I swear, it's not just me
She had every single boy in town
As far as the eye could see
You know she's the type of girl every guy's lookin' for,
Cause when you see her pretty pretty face, man, you just can't ignore
I didn't go and end up a lovefool
But a good friend of mine, he did
Now he's ruined, tattered and torn
His heart's been ripped to bits
She's moved on to another guy
She'll probably leave in a week
But hey, all I can say
I'm lucky that guy ain't me.

Rainclouds
The last thing I would want
On a day like this
Is a raincloud
Coming between us.
Don't let the wind
Blow us apart,
Weather the storm
That's in your heart.
Let the sun
Mask away the rain
Let the bird's songs
Mask away the pain
The children playing
Eases my ears
Makes me forget
About all of my fears.
Because a day like this
Shouldn't be spent alone
But how I wish.

Strange Languages
Isn't it funny?
Isn't it funny?
How people talk so loud,
But say nothing at all?
Isn't it funny,
How people treat devices more highly,
Than they treat people?
Isn't it funny,
How someone could ignore the person next to them,
And talk to another miles away who could care less about them?
Isn't it funny,
How everybody seems to be your friend,
But you always feel alone?
Isn't it funny,
How we can control the moon and the tides,
But we can't control the stock market?
Isn't it funny,
How we can ignore everything,
Yet pay attention to something,
That doesn't really exist?
Last few days, I haven't been feeling all too well for some reason, and I don't mean in the physical, sickness type of way.
Relationship problems:
Last friday, I went to a friend's party. I met a girl there, and we really liked eachother, I guess we were falling in love. She didn't have a mobile number, so she told me just to add her on Facebook. Next two days, I asked her for her home number, then she told me it was "private". She's been ignoring me ever since, and keeps saying she's busy. She's not.
To make matters worse, her best friend, who I've known for longer than her, seems to be hitting on me or something.
Life problems:
Parents, family are all sick. Everyone is but me. It's spring down here, so I'm guessing everyone has hayfever or something. The difference is, having Indonesian parents exaggerates everything, making every day seem like a concentration camp
Outside of all this, my music. Namely, I've been waiting half a year for my band to start up, and even though I'm good friends with all of them they're not serious at all. Should I go on Youtube or something?
Thanks for that; I'll need it
I'm thinking I should just download MSE and draft with myself. Trouble is I don't want to make Magic... there's other plugins, right?
I guess... you'll have to tutor me a bit on this. Basically I want to make my own game and play against a AI.
I also have no idea how to do this.
I've got the time to learn it, but it does seem difficult and the interface is a bit complicated.

Thanks guys and please help me out

Sorry just letting out steam here

Thanks ::cool2:
Will any cheap metronome, as long as it keeps in time, do the job? At the moment all I have is computer metronomes
Thanks again

Well that made me crack up
Before I posted this, I really should've said:
- I'm not exactly straight, but I can't say for sure, my parents are very very right wing type people so naturally they don't like that
- I'm very antisocial; I have very few/pretty much no friends, many reasons why
- Everytime I tend to make friends, things go well until I stuff up (I ALWAYS stuff up), usually this relates to situations involving women
- I'm always depressed, nobody takes it seriously
- I get angry at everything, especially when it comes to music, genre arguments etc.
- I've never really had a proper relationship with a girl before; we always end up fighting
On the other hand; none of these problems are really too big, and I was in a bad mood when I was typing. Thanks guys!
BTW I'm not "trolling"

TL;DR: Nobody cares who I am or what I do
