Is their no way to get this effect on a land? i just think it would be so much cooler.
How about this:
~
Land R
~ enters the battlefield tapped. T: add R to your mana pool. ~ doesn't untap during your next untap step. Inspired — Whenever ~ becomes untapped Red spells cost BG less for you to cast. This effect reduces only the amount of colored mana you pay. (For example, if you cast a Red spell with mana cost2RG, it costs 2G to cast.)
Or do you think that is way to may restrictions now?
Aggressive Sentinel WWW
Creature - Human Cleric Rare
Haste, Defender
Aggressive Sentinel can't block creatures with power 3 or less.
When Aggressive Sentinel enters the battlefield, you may pay 2. If you do it loses defender until end of turn.

White and Haste? Nah I can only envision it with defender.
Celerity Paramedic W
Creature - Human Cleric Common
Haste, Defender T: You gain 1 life. Doctors orders, in a war zone, don't stand still.
1/2
Fleetfood Bodyguard 2W
Creature - Human Cleric uncommon
Haste, Defender T: The next time a source of your choice would deal damage this turn, that damage is dealt to Fleetfood Bodyguard. What's the purpose of a bodyguard, if not to protect you immediately?

I hope that it turns out to be a special format which is MTG meets MAFIA. Before you begin the draft, 2 players are picked to be MAFIA, and then you draft and have an 8 player multiplayer game, but everyturn you have to vote who you think is MAFIA and if at anytime there is majority, that person automatically dies. After each revolution, people do the whole eyes clsoed thing and mafia kills someone.
Wow . . . I had no idea . . . would have changed the format for sure. Blue was very strong with the rimewind cards plus snow lands. . . . also red was amazing due to Skred!
Okay, ran the center section from Bugsy through some cipher software:
artifact creature cqnstruct draft cogwork librarian face up as you draft a card you may draft an additional card from that booster pack if you do put cogwork librarian into to at booster pack
I assume that you weren't around for Coldsnap, and haven't been reading this thread too carefully. The way WotC does it, you do not get as many snow basics as you want. There is one per pack, and if you want that snow basic you have to draft that snow basic appropriately highly, and at the end of the draft you get to put the 2-6 snow basics you drafted into your deck, and that's it. No more snow land for you.
Guesswork was originally going to change that and make snow basics available in unlimited quantities because some of his cards actually require snow to cast (unlike Coldsnap). He realized that might be a bad idea because then snow basics would be strictly better than snow basics in the limited format, and even the nonsnow decks might as well run all snow basics if they'd drafted a single card with snow activation. These cards are being suggested precisely because this change makes more nonland snow sources required at common.
Weird, my shop gave us unlimited snow basics. . . .
Uncertain Orders - Kind of not great, actually. Could do with not actually untapping the creature to remove it from combat.
Sounds good, here is the fix
Uncertain Orders :symwr::symru:
Instant - Common
Target creature attacks this turn if able. Til end of turn if that creature becomes blocked, you may remove it from combat. Attack?
Eldritch Knowledge - Also pretty bad considering it can't even guarantee you a one for one, and in fact can on many occasions be a one for zero. Discard also usually isn't done at instant speed.
Hmm how is this fix:
Eldritch Knowledge :symbr::symbu:
Instant - Common
Reveal the top card of target library. If it is an instant or sorcery spell that player draws a card and Eldritch Knowledge deals damage to them equal to that cards converted mana cost. Otherwise place that card on the bottom of that players library. Wizards have a habit of reading books they aren't meant to.
Battle Forged Friendship - Definitely over the curve. Pretty cool flavor though.
Thanks! How would this sound as a balance fix.
Battle Forged Friendship :symwg::symwr:
Instant - Common
Put a 1/1 green Elf Warrior token, a 1/1 white Human soldier token with defender, and a 1/1 red Goblin Barbarian with "this creature must attack if able" onto the battlefield. In the thick of battle, soldiers from each side sometimes realize, that they have more in common with those in the opposing trench than they do with their commanding officers.
Wisdom to Leave - Since this is double opponent choice it's also pretty underpowered.
This was the hardest card for me to make. . . how about:
Stolen Hours :symwu::symwb:
Instant - Common
Counter target spell. If a spell is countered this way that spells controller puts that card into his or her library third from the top.
Sort of really powerful now since its close to the original counterspell.
Genetic Roulette - Awesome Rapid Hybridization variant, but needs to exile rather than destroy.
Thanks! It was my favorite of the bunch. Here is the fixed version
Genetic Roulette :symug::symur:
Instant - Common
Exile target creature. It's controller flips a coin. If he or she wins the flip they may place a 4/4 blue red green beast token onto the battlefield. If he or she loses the flip they may place a 1/1 blue red green ant token onto the battlefield. Evolution has a plan for us, and it doesn't involve it making sense.
Probably more hated than Thalia honestly - assuming that no other snow cards are playable - this thing will probably just read as a sphere of resistance with a body and flying, where as Thalia was a thorn of amethyst with a body and first strike. I can't imagine it not having a huge impact. Then if some other snow cards are playable - they will probably only be playable in a dedicated snow deck that will run Gyldred. So it will actually be a one sided sphere of resistance. . .

Thanks! But do you think it is too complicated for common now?
Sure - I see no problem with that. Also a question: Do you think the black one (or the new red one) is balanced?

Drafting as a mechanic?!
You may cast a sorcery with a CMC 6 or less in a graveyard without paying its mana cost. If you do exile it.

Would tacking on a cantrip be too much?

Hmm, i think i'm willing to take that chance - off the top of my head I don't see this being more abused than lets say unearth?
87 cards have cmc above 3, power of 1 and are rare (more likely to be broken) (http://magiccards.info/query?q=pow%3D1+cmc%3E%3D4+%28r%3Amythic+or+r%3Arare%29&v=card&s=cname)
Doing a quick run through, I don't see anything combo worthy. . .
