Does it not fit right into the current Quest decks? I mean, if you get your creature killed with the Argentum Armor, you can simply move for free (providing you have metalcraft). Not only that, you are drawing cards in a deck that runs out of cards in hand very fast. In the Vengevine version drawing the extra cards could help out.
The Turntimber creates a wolf token when it comes into play or any other ally, the enchantment makes the wolves in to allies as well. therefore every wolf would trigger another, and another. This creates an infinite loop, and by magic rules, the player must pick a number at which to end the loop. The above has choosen one million.
So what? It's still far better. It also doesn't die to bounce. There are some differences between a 0 costed artifact, and a 7 costed Giant, I concede that.
That one point of damage shouldn't make a difference in the long run. Considering you can use the Memnite for attacking if you draw it after your initial draw, it will almost always net you more damage.
I agree with a statement made earlier about making it mono-black. Rather than use time and mana creating a "combo", I would probably spend the first few turns playing early damage threats and attacking the hand. Keep in mind a player is going to have a lot harder time recovering their losses with only 2 or three cards in hand. Plus you may get rid of the never ending counterspells that come with competitive Legacy.
If you want casual Legacy. You probably have a good start. I would swap out the urges and replace them with a lure effect. Add some Forbidden Orchards if you want a good laugh. Sure they block with ten tokens and kill your guy, but they deal 10 damage to him, and now they have no permanents.
I don't think we'll see the titan's back. Not for a while anyway. Having 5 creatures dominate a mana slot is bad business. It devalues other strong cards in their spot in the curve, meaning a larger majority of cards become "undesirable" in the eyes of traders and the singles market. They may return one day, but not soon.
Phyrexiian Revoker: Always a place for a Pithing Needle
If the poison decks continue, how good is Livewire Lash? Though this is my dark horse, I think it makes a pretty good one or two of.
Bonehoard: There are a ton of great equipment to chose from right now. But every control deck, and some combo decks will be playing these as a staple. This card already is making an impact, but for good reason.
I find it funny that this card is being discussed as an option for RDW type decks. We already have this card in standard. It's called Memnite. The big difference between the two is you can play Memnite on turns 2 through 8 (assuming you don't play a land every turn.)
In addition, if you have enough creatures in play when you hard cast the Chancellor to make it anything more than a 5/5 for 7, you've already won the game. This will never happen anyway because you'll have lost the game because you drew you're 2nd and 3rd Chancellor instead of cards that help you and keep the damage rolling.
Good card I think. Not great, good. It is great for the classic rdw decks except it is doesn't curve well in a red aggro deck. Four mana is generally your top end.
I do believe this card was designed as an Commander card, though it may be strong enough to see other formats.
Dad? Is that you?

I can go with that. If the card does find a place, I can see it in a Zoo type deck. Naya would accept that.
