I think this is going to be a constructed all star, but in cube with only so many fetches I can see some consistency issues. I'm curious how it actually plays out in cube.
It seems okay, but not sure how okay. Only being able to transform as a sorcery means if you play it early as the wall you're telegraphing the discard, and you're still replacing that with another card. You're also dedicating 2 turns to that effect, and can't do it at the end of your opponents turn. If you do it all in one turn it's a 4 drop.
This is a slam dunk. Even if you don't support green aggro this thing is great. This also works with midrange beats, and is a threat that grows. Later in the game this will start as a 3/2.
The problem I have with basing things on tournament formats is those decks are finely tuned, and with multiple copies. It isn't a 1:1 if good in tourney then good in cube. Anything with delirium for example is very hard to pull off in cube in my experience. the flexibility of O-ring is very valuable.
I'm still high on it, but that might also be a function of white being a relatively weaker color.
When it works it's great. Either I'm on the draw or my deck tried to mana screw me, and it feels great to have. If I'm on the play, and drawing land anyhow, then it can feel awkward/do nothing. As much as possible if I'm running it I just choose to be on the draw. My opponents have yet to say no to going first.
I want to point out that cradle is great in any creature deck with green in it. There was a world championship decklist from when it came out that was just mono-green stompy. It's not just a ramp card, although it is busted there.

I'll keep an eye on it.
Agreed, and this card goes well in both decks.
