My entire The Mimeoplasm deck, except for the three revised duals, is BB, non-foil, and full art if non-foil (ie Hinder, but not Damnation). The difference isn't obvious, but after a while I noticed that my starting hand, regardless of the cards, looked beautiful. The aesthetics count.
I've also noticed that fetching the Revised Duals is easier because they are the ONLY WB cards; they stick out when rifling through my deck.

2. What is the relative power of single-use card draw/manipulation as compared to permanent-based card draw/manipulation (ex. Harmonize as compared to Sylvan Library)?
3. How important are the following to Jenara decks:
A) Wrath effects
B) Recursion
C) Extra Turns
D) Ramp
E) Game ending threats
Obviously the metagame of the playgroup matters, but I would like thoughts on these. Without spending a day looking through 117 pages of posts (Good job, ISB!).
Ashling runs <$50 to get Caged sun, Gauntlet of Power, Extraplanar Lens and Mana Flare + 10 Fireball effects. Throw in Skullclamp, Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, Whispersilk cloak and Darksteel Plate for some beatdown. Expedition Map and Valakut, The Molten Pinnacle give you reach. Tada, DECK!

1. Are tutors such as Chord of Calling, Green Sun's Zenith, Survival of the Fittest, Birthing Pod, Eladamri's Call, and Worldly Tutor more important than having multiple of a single effect in a deck? I understand the power of tutoring; I also understand the power of redundancy. Is the versatility of a tutor more necessary than having mulitples of an effect in the deck (ex. Chord of Calling over Indrik Stomphowler in ISB's list)?

Oh, and he costs way less.
Recent prints such as the M10/innistrad checklands and tenth edition painlands are inexpensive, yet effective mana fixers.
Also, Ashling the Pilgrim relies on General damage. It's hard to deal triple digit damage with a singleton Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle.
I don't play it in The Mimeoplasm because my meta loves Dissipate and Spell Crumple.
My roommate plays it in Teysa, Orzhov Scion because it makes other cards better.
