besides telling you to play twin or pod, id say stick to your 3 cmc win con. That way you can cut down on transmute and they hit both sides of the combo. Youll need ways to protect your guy the turn he comes out (so counters or Lightning greaves) since they dont have flash or haste. Go up to 4-ofs on the combo pieces and at most 4-of on your transmute. Then add in removal and a bit of deck selection and should be nice. Also white gives you path and some great tech out of the board. Esper mana bases arent that tricky if you have fetches into shocks, but since you aren't running them id say choose one of them and stick with it.
he would come back with 6 counters and if you did so again hed come back with 6 counters. His ability puts 5 counters on him and then add one for the undying
I believe atm there's one huge problem for Scapeshifts tournament records: Infect. At least I believe Infect is Scapeshifts worst MU and it's currently pretty heavily played
pretty sure the thornling part of it doesnt work, power can go negative it just does zero damage (i.e. Char rumbler) so while his toughness becomes huge, power doesnt get stuck at zero. Otherwise I love the deck
Every color has an answer to to twins bad combo. PTE in response, or mana leak...
90% of which get dealt with by the 4 MD dispels. My vote goes to twin depending on meta. the only real difficult things to answer are enchantment forms of hate (Ghostly prison) and Combust/abrupt decay, but even those can be worked around. Hive mind is fun but against folks who know what the deck does it goes down the drain pretty quick. All of them have their iffy matchups
Test subject is fine but id say the doorkeeper is WAY too gimmicky, if youre going to add him just put in another wincon instead. you want T1 plays so either arbor elf, av pilgrim, or shaman is the way to go.
and even with that just board for it
