Well, seeing how there wasn't really Phage decks when Platinum Angel and other silly " can't lose the game" cards were out, I doubt Phage is gonna explode out of nowhere in decklists. Sure, there may be increased interest for a tiny bit of time, but nothing in the long run.
I won't be suprised when she gets banned as a general.
Honestly don't see that happening. Doesn't have haste, not blue, no protection...I definitely don't see Kaalia as banworthy. Annoying? yes. Broken? not even close.
@Riley(pg 8) - of all the stories that I've read for the past nine threads, yours probably takes the cake as it got me really upset just thinking if I were in that position. I would have massively raged and probably gotten arrested for assault.
Anyways, my worst experience in recent memory was at this store (not my usual LGS) in which there was several 4 man pods going on. In my group was Drana (MBC), Sharuum (Combo), Nath (discard), and me as Teferi (stealy/counter). Since I was new and apparently, the other three guys all knew each other, guess who got hated out of the table within the first hour.
Moral of the story: If you go to a new store in which everyone knows everyone but you, don't play a mono-blue deck as everyone assumes you'll lock them out of the game (even though I didn't even run nutty one card combos with Teferi, such as Knowledge Pool, in my deck)
Skullbriar, the Walking Grave is the worst of all the new generals in my book. All he does is swing and keep his counters when he dies... unless he gets bounced or tucked. Maybe i'm biased, but I have been running animar in my group. There are three skullbriar decks that don't really do much since I have a very strong bounce package.
I'd argue on that one and say Basandra would be the weakest two color general. As awesome as her ability is to halt any tricksies in combat, the colors are just....well, the two worst colors in EDH.
I would hardly call that ripping people off. That's extremely good value for a product that isn't sold at MSRP overly often and may not be sold at MSRP again if savvy shop owners work out demand is quite strong.
Considering this other store I went to had the exact same deck for 25 dollars...
Oh well. I got all the decks I wanted, so even if that store wised up and learned to hike the prices, I can't complain.
I found out of my two LGS, one is ripping everyone off, putting all decks at least $35 (5 over MSRP), with 45 on Devour for Power. My other store is selling all five for 25 dollars each.
Sure, I'll probably be the first man out since Ruhan swings willy nilly, scaring the living daylights out of everyone at the table, but it'd still be fun, especially if Ruhan straight up knocks the same guy three turns in a row somehow.
Political Puppets, and Heavenly Inferno for me. I know I could probably get a better deal on PP if I wait it out, but I reallyyyyyy want to make a Ruhan deck asap.
Also, I'm up in the air about Mirror Mastery, I might wait a bit on that one before buying it.
Personally, I love weird, crazy ideas, so I'm most likely getting Political Puppets first, followed by Heavenly Inferno.
On Topic, unless you're just like me who craves weird stuff that no one else would possibly love, I'd suggest either Heavenly Inferno (if you don't want to change the decklist too much) or Mirror Mastery (to take advantage of their insane generals).

I mean Kaalia is pretty spiffy...although I'm not sure I'd put her in the top 5 tier.
My Walmart though was selling all five (when I last checked two days ago) for MSRP. Go figure.

Guess which one I went to and bought three packs.
Oh wait, multiplayer. In that case, I've had more fun with Ghave than I thought possible.
I hope the lot of you boycott your LGS. Granted my LGS looks to rip people off for 5 bucks over MSRP, but come on...75 dollars is pathetic.
Hope you got a Wal-Mart nearby.
Other than that, I'm currently building a "Giant" themed EDH deck around that new commander coming out, Ruhan. I'll post that up within a few days.
You have the exact same thought as I do.
