So we have a Skrillex ripoff in a drug-induced time warp caressing the upholstery of an antique chair. Of course this means drawing extra cards at the cost of life!
I am not sure if that is a joke or not, but you can see the king's head being absorbed into his hand, like the king was using the confidant to rule and now he is getting paid with his life.
Blue isn't allowed to have nice things anymore. It gets two formats to dominate so it has to take a backseat in Standard and Modern. I find it funny that blue was given Delver to play with in Modern and Standard, but all the cards that make it amazing are banned.
That and Abrupt Decay bent it over it's knee and spanked Delver.
The art is terrible for a sliver, its an elemental or treefolk, not a sliver, why wizards do this? if they want to recycle art don't do it in a mythic type of creature, slivers are loosing theyr identity, its like suddenly merlfolks become pink with wings and 3 legs.. no sense...:thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:
Salmon merfolk are real and those fins are so big they look like wings good sir. The legs are definitely from pollutants in the water.
That would be a neat block, things being mutated from magic pollutants. (Not necessarily a good block though.)
Slivers that only pump YOUR slivers?
Ick.
No thanks, do it right or don't do it at all!
Yeah, how dare slivers not help my opponent. I know I hate it when my Sphinx's Revelation doesn't let my opponent draw cards or heal.
Look, I like Slivers being the way they were too, but this isn't the end of the world, although their new look doesn't sit too well with me. Y'all need to relax a little.
Not a huge fan of this list, but it is decent enough because of Shrine, Advent, and Lingering Souls, not a ton of value, but just enough that you won't hate yourself when you buy it.
My only problem with them is that some of them don't resemble any part of a sliver at all. After that I am glad they don't affect them all anymore as a limited environment like that with so many slivers running around would be incredibly annoying.
Sentinel and Striking Sliver are decent, even alone.
I do find it odd also that we got M14 previews before we got Modern Masters.

I am still wondering why we keep getting M14 spoilers while Modern Masters is close to two weeks away.
This is probably the first time I have wanted something like Mana Leak back.
