This could be very interesting how things go. This could go badly or this could go amazingly, either for this game or the others that they own. As long as this doesn't make Kaijudo take over Magic I am good.
This could go many different ways. I'm hoping some of this guys decisions will herald the creation of full art Snow-Covered basic lands. One could dream.
I would take a reprint of snow basics right now just to drop the price of those.
If we ever get older frames it will probably only be when we do some sort of Timespiral supplemental set or block again, although if that means cards in different frames would be a question.
I would definitely be for another Timespiral set/block, I want to see Mirrodin Pure cards.
Or they were just sounding the effect of having lands producing C in a set where there are no C-matters cards.
After all it is the first time we have C as a symbol in a set that doesn't care for it in card costs.

also they tried to sell C costs as Kozilek's signature characteristic in cards, I don't think that they will make the third Eldrazi hyjack it in the block right after it was introduced: it would leave Kozilek and its brood without anything of their own.
Since they want Emrakul to consume and corrupt life, I'm expecting something more similar to exploit as a signature ability for the third Eldrazi.
You know what? I FREAKING KNEW there wouldn't be any damn (diamond) cost mana symbols in costs after OGW! That is so freaking annoying that they errata all my old lands to this confusing symbol then leave it in the dust immediately. I knew (diamond) mana was an eldrazi-only deal, yet it now infects all colorless mana production forever. #salty.
While you are right about SoI, and possibly even Eldritch Moon, any set that comes after OGW could have <> mana in it which means you could easily be proven wrong at any time. We don't know the future, but I'm sure <> mana could be used for Eldrazi, artifact rich type planes, like Mirrodin/New Phyrexia and possibly Esper cards (we could get one that costs U<>, B<>, or W<> to show it is a living artifact in some way, I don't know just spit balling) on Alara. Right now there isn't really a reason why we have to think it is Eldrazi only.
I would quite enjoy this, but then again what chance do squirrels have when Wizards can't figure out how to do more Orcs, Dwarves, or other easy fantasy creatures. Core sets were about the only place we could see squirrels, but now with them gone only chance we have of seeing more squirrels is Commander.
Seriously, I want every card that's on that list that isn't broken and expensive, for nostalgia. The should have added FoW, Mana Drain, and other expensive powerful cards to the reserve list, and take off cards like Grandmother Sengir

Not to mention I'm sure they won't have two mythic counterspells in the set. If Mana Drain was in the set it would definitely be the mythic one rather than Force of Will, which really should only have been a rare.

It really is still part of green's part of the pie, Reclaiming Vines was just in BFZ and before that we had a couple cards in Theros block that could destroy lands, in mono green.

Bitterblossom had the same thing happen after it was unbanned, where it went from $20 to $80 overnight, but it did fall to a decent price over time. I don't like the sudden price jumps either, but this always happens with cards like these where they were banned for so long. Gotta give it some time and it should regulate.
In many ways, these "ethnicity" planes are really problematic. Theros is 100% stereotypes and cultural appropriation and I'm pretty sure there isn't a single Greek person working on Magic R&D, but Greeks are not particularly discriminated against, so nobody really complained. This really isn't tolerable for more marginalized cultures and Wizards will be (rightfully) criticized for it if they continue to use cultural appropriation as a way to increase corporate profit.
Minorities should not be used as gimmicks to sell new sets of Magic cards.

Innistrad is old English horror tropes and Kamigawa is based on Japanese mythologies, but I guess it is okay to use them as gimmicks for some reason. Why isn't Innistrad or Kamigawa doing any sort of"cultural appropriation"? Oh and by the way what stereotypes were in Theros? You mean the ones from the very fantasy that old stories came from? I'm pretty sure no one out there thinks that of the current Greek culture where they hold shields up and fight hydras. So no one from now on can never base anything on any mythology? I guess movies like Percy Jackson, Clash of the Titans and its sequel, and Gods of Egypt was "cultural appropriation", although in the case of Gods of Egypt that is a terrible movie from all angles.
If this list is real I am surprised by the lack of Damnation and Goblin Guide. After that there are a few "What the hell?!" type of cards like Clickslither or Psychatog at rare.

I think for reprint sets we only get two weeks of spoilers, so between early and mid May we'll start seeing more.
