    Ahh, Thank you, sir.

Though, if I may ask where in the rules specifically does it say this?

I don't doubt your information I just want to know so I can point it out to my friends if any of them have a similar question.

I was wondering about this question after playing with the Tibalt deck from Sorin vs Tibalt Duel deck in a large four to five player free for all.

After I die would my Creature Tokens, Creatures, Artifacts, or Enchantments stay on the battlefield as targets or sources that continue to effect other players and or the game state?

Like say if I died and had a Sulfuric Vortex on the Battlefield would it continue hurting my opponents and continue disallowing life gain?

    o/

I posted the linked article although, at the moment due to my odd sleeping schedule I don't have the thinking power to articulate such a powerful post, not that I probably could muster an effort as eloquent, Gweivyth.

All of those sites suggested will probably lead us eventually to the same sour bitter pickle we find ourselves in now.

I do like photo's approach to this, however. We simply make our own digital tree house somewhere else but, pull from this community still, or hell, maybe even from other communities being that the official clan will technically exist else where and stay within the painfully rigid graces of the management here.

Sounds like Ham just volunteered a possible solution.

It would also make the Ham Challenge just that much more special.

Well, I am up for leaving as well if it comes to that. I was never that partial to MTGS from the get go after reading this blog post about the state of MTGS, its moderators, and the web site as a whole before joining(although, to be fair the author seems like he is a bit of a douche bag but, the way he describes the moderators on this site seem to ring true with the actions and words displayed recently).

I am all for staying and seeing how the buttered toast lands but, I have a distinct feeling we'll be here again in a similar situation in the future following another round of infractions or a ban of one of our own based on quick fiery words in a discussion somewhere on this site. It is inevitable. Like Dane said, we are Red Mages.

    We're reds, dude...

    Touche.

Well, if all goes to pot due to the recent disagreements with the management, I and my graphical skills will go with the clan.

And in other news, upon purchasing the Sorin vs Tibalt decks my Vexing Devil Burn Deck has reached new heights of trolling. Browbeat and Vexing Devil are my favorite kitchen table cards.

A man fails the ham challenge and has to acclimate to odd sleeping hours to prepare for a possible new job and comes back to his clan up in arms about things!

What the heck happened in the last five days?

    Nice. Good luck, sir.

If you make it into the SEALs enjoy learning that Frank Cucci brand of Filipino Kali.

Man, Colonel Nohman, I still love that signature.

Alas, I had to re-format recently and I lost my official version of Photoshop CS2...and I ended up losing the actual install discs sometime back. I would pirate CS 2 but, I am afraid of trojans, worms, and any viruses that sometimes come along with pirating software. I also wouldn't like catching Adobe's wrath. I still have the key codes for installing CS 2 but, I lack the disc.

Here is hoping I can get an actual job soon and pay for a new form of Photoshop, even the basic Elements version wouldn't awful, so I can continue my graphics work for the clan.

Ahh, I sort of came to those conclusions but doubts were abound at the table as we tried to reason through some of it but, I needed a fresh rule oriented perspective to work things out(most of the time I am the impromptu judge for our playgroup but, I clearly don't have all the answers).

Thank you for the quick and most educational response.

We had a ton of games this evening and I was wondering about a couple things.

1.) If Galvanoth allows a player to cast Invoke the Firemind without paying it's mana cost does that allow the player to pay for X or did the spell go to the graveyard due to X being nothing?

2.) If a player has more than one Delver of Secrets out does the player look at the top two cards or one? And if that one is a sorcery or Instant does it allow all of the Delvers in question to flip?

3.) Can you sacrifice tapped lands especially ones that have been used during a turn that have been tapped to pay for something after it resolves? Like, say in a situation involving Devastating Summons or Akki Avalanchers following resolved creature or non-creature spells, can the tapped land be sacrificed?

We don't have FNM around here but, we did have a mean round of games at the kitchen table tonight.

In the end R/w Boros Sligh and Kuldotha Red ran the gauntlet most of the evening and won most of the games. I even made the resident bottomless pockets player in the group angry when three of his mythic and rare filled guild decks failed to work(also, his Modern Elves just failed completely against my Kuldotha Goblins which made him even angrier after three losses in a row before turn 5).

I don't understand people sometimes though. I lose graciously as possible and never gloat a win and he almost exploded with rage after the second loss and celebrated like it was raining money when he won his one game. -_-

    'morning, gents.

I had a bad start to the day: my mom called to let me know that my grandmother passed away last night. She would have been 92 on Friday. Her health had been fading rapidly, and her mind had been slipping away, so it's a small blessing in a way. It feels very strange not to have any living grandparents, like a link to the past has just been severed.

I'll probably be headed up to Chicago tomorrow. It doesn't seem real to me yet, like when my father passed several years ago. Living so far away, I feel somewhat isolated from the rest of my family.

I'm sorry to hear that. My own grandmother passed away this last November so, I feel your pain. I'm sorry for your loss. The news hit me like a ton of bricks when my grandmother went and I wish you all the best in this time of grieving and remembrance.

Now I am off to bed. I stayed up all night playing Magic and Mario at a friend's house. One of the members of the playgroup lately has been getting really full of himself in the worst way so I had to crush him and his Aggro Dimir deck with the R/w Boros sligh. After two quick wins and one complete blow out I saw the quiet anger and defeat burn in his eyes and I knew my work was done. Though, the blowout was a little harsh but deserved so, I think from now on he will be wary of anything I have in red sleeves like everybody else. One of my friends quit immediately from our three way free for all the moment he saw me pull the Red deck box out.

Oh, I finally worked out a rough tag line I like for either the clan signatures or maybe a custom shirt I'll make for the clan this summer.

Front; Red Mana Symbol or custom graphic for FoS, still deciding.

Back; All hail to the burning standard as my Salvation lies in Fire.

I like it but, I think it still needs some work. It would be my FNM/casual Magic/Small town tournament shirt. I think the idea has merit.

I forgot what feeling weight lifting sore felt like.

Alright, time to go teach some folks how to play this game, properly, again.

I like all of these kitchen table and small town tournament games. It is making me sharper in a sense but, I have this itch for going to an actual FNM. The only issue being the only FNMs within driving distance are only doing Modern for the next couple months. It is vexing.
