I am notorious for wasting my money on bad sleeves. When I ask the shopkeeper if I can see the sleeve in a card they always say ‘no’. Then I buy a sleeve and it turns out that they are crap or not tournament legal. I have had consistent results with dark colors of Player’s Choice. But can never find them. So ask you Sally, What is the Best Sleeves in the History of the World Ever?
Magic is sorta a secret for me.
I do not first meet people and say "Hi! I play magic!" and then go demonstrate that I know ever facet of the game. That would be stupid and would put up a wall that I do not want there.
I do over time might mention it to a person, but that is about it. Since they most likely do not care at all.
Card games are a different type of social game. You can go down the street and ask some bum about the local sports teams. You can not do this with magic since there are many dimensions that people are not familiar with it.
When I was asked by a friend why I play magic I said. "It has two things I like about it. I can be a Hedge Fund Manager and a coach at the same time." After that I told him why it like the stock market. And that players love the game too much and it is unhealthily, we should save the love for humans. (However, that is different topic all together.)
personally I was very happy that I hid the fact I play magic in high school. and the people that did know, they had respect for me (Which we all want in the long run regardless if I played magic or not. Since High School is full of people that we might not hang out with, if we had the choice. Thus you should hid this fact, and let other facets of yourself shine in the four years of High School.
He means Kiku's Shadow, and in his scenario the Gorilla is better than the Centaur. Also, the Wild Pair that was mentioned a few posts ago affects both differently, thus mucking up the "strictly better/worse" case for the two. In fact, Wild Pair pretty much singlehandedly negates any cases of same cost but inferior P/T.
Not really. Since there hast to be a case where Wild Pair, has the same two effects on cards.
I can not guarantee internet access on Thursday though Sunday this week.

Counterbalance or Chalice of the Void. I let you pick the one I will counter with.
If there was a card called Kiku's Shade.
Thus I am still winning the thread.
Do I win the thread?

Well it is Serra Angel with a Stax-lock with Gush, that is the best way I can describe it.
