I have the same struggle right now. I really do like this Gideon, but Gideon of the Trials is slightly more interesting and flexible, even if the raw power on this one's a little higher. White three-drops, especially creatures and pseudo-creatures, are probably the most competitive spot in cube, and is also where I have some of my most beloved personal picks like Stonecloaker. Do I just want to have 10 white 'walkers in my 720? Do I want to powermax? Probably not, so Blackblade might not be able to make it in even though he seems super fun.

Also nice and surprising to see Bounty Agent so high up. My white has a sub-theme for Legendary creatures, and my group recently campaigned for Reki, the History of Kamigawa to be included with all the growth with legends (he's overperforming, but the expectation is that he'd be a bad Elvish Visionary, which he's still only marginally better than on average), so it made sense for me, but I think it's got broader application too. At 720, I think there's really a good critical mass of Legends for this effect, when attached to a dude -- much of the best creatures you'd want to be killing are Legendary in cube anyways, so I've been pleased with the Agent in testing, and happy you're sharing it too.

This is where I'm at on here - I don't think it'll be fitting into my 720 list.
For a card with this restrictive of a cost, it needs to be able to do anything. Right now, in blue, the only cards I have that are this mana-intensive are Cryptic Command and Very Cryptic Command(D). The un-command would be one of the first cards I'd take out of blue if I ever went down to 630 - even now, I'm pretty uncomfortable with having a pair of UUU cards that are both a) reactive and b) want to be able to be played on turn 4. Since cards cast with Mission Briefing are typically going to be blue, I'm holding it to the same standard and...no, it's not nearly as flexible as those two.
