I crafted a Kaladesh-standard BW Control list for under $100. I'm trying to create a BW list that doesn't include money mythics but the Planeswalkers seem essential to current BW decks so I'm not sure if the deck is even worth it without the walkers.
How do we feel about Prognostic Sphinx? Seems like a potentially powerful finisher. I'm also kind of into a 1-of Whip of Erebos. Any combat step with a Whip in play completely offsets Thoughtseize and makes it nigh impossible for aggro to bust through. Sphinx also can feed the Whip.
I like the Sphinx, but I don't think its home is in Grixis. We already have Planeswalkers and Rakdos's Return to let us win the game.
I've been away from the Standard scene for a long time. I want to play a draw-go style deck, but don't know which color combinations would be best suited for it. So far I've been thinking of using UBR, UWG, UW, or UB.
You could try a UR Counterburn deck. Blue contributes counterspells/bounce to control the game, and red provides creature removal/damage to defeat your opponent. Here's an entire thread about a UR Snapcaster deck. You could read through it for some ideas.

You can choose to not put Regal Force onto the battlefield.
Here's a sample list from spooky's thread:
4 Glint Hawk
3 Memnite
4 Mother of Runes
4 Ornithopter
3 Puresteel Paladin
4 Squadron Hawk
4 Stoneforge Mystic
1 Batterskull
2 Mox Opal
4 Quest for the Holy Relic
1 Sword of Fire and Ice
1 Sword of Light and Shadow
4 Swords to Plowshares
1 Umezawa's Jitte
15 Plains
Only five? Sadness.
EDIT: The other 45-ish cards show up in the visual... oops.
Nope. It's a Saturday. DailyMTG updates Mon-Fri.
