feel free to add me. I have almost a play set of standard so I can playtest most decks and am looking for some playtest buddies. I just dropped my jtms though for legacy cards so I am down to play legacy too.

I hate enchantress its one of my worst matchups. Only other thing I have lost a match too online is Ad Nauseam. I need to sideboard for these 2 decks I think as most of the time the deck I am playing against is too slow and I dont sideboard too much unless its something that I cant handle.

I honestly think the drop-hand and win turn 2-3 builds have no future. Eventually people are going to catch on and start sideboarding properly.

This is why I'm personally opposed to frogmite and enforcer, and prefer steel overseer, etched champion and tezz 2.0. Sure I can't kill people turn 2 or 3 like I used to, but I can on turn 4, and I actually have a game after that.

Having 12 "lord" effects in master, overseer and signal pest lets me play the midrange game, and makes the deck more resilient since it has different ways to win.

My dislike for Ravager is another issue though. Every time you sac things to pump, you're taking a risk - if they have stifle, or a removal spell, then you get blown out. I'd rather build board presence and not give my opponent a chance to pull off huge swings like that.

Agreed I very rarely have a turn 3 kill with tezz build but I almost always have a turn 4/5 kill. And if the game goes longer I can still win. If you have tezz out and your oponent kills all artifacts you can still easily recover with his draw ability to get back board position.

I dont agree that Tezz is only for a control build. I play strictly aggro and I usually win by turn 3 or 4 and never cast tezz. But everytime the game goes past turn 4 or post board where they are so concerned with plating and MoE that they dont see Tezz coming he wins everytime I drop him. The only matches I have lost online in tournament practice are games where I had to muligan to 5 and even then I still usually win those games. Its very powerful deck if you play aggro but you have to commit to attacking as fast and hard as possible. Sometimes game 2 I will get a slow draw and once the game goes past turn 5-6 and I dont see a way to win quickly I will concede take the play and just overrun them turn 3-4 on game 3.

    here is my current list.

I have played 4 springleaf drum and it was okay too. I think that was before I was being aggressive enough so now mana screw isnt a big deal because I can win with 2. Etched Champion very rarely gets cast as I am usually winning before I can get it out of my hand. I may move to board and add 1 more for longer games. Wish glimmervoid was an artifact but trying to cast tezz it helps a lot not getting only one color land. Maybe another spring leaf and take out the 2 champions and add some more artifact lands but I dont think its necessary.

I use only the mouse but I change my stops depending on the deck I'm playing and the cards that I have out. If I have an activated ability that I have to activate on my upkeep I will stop on my upkeep but if not then I don't stop ect. Too many stops can slow you down. I play on my laptop and I just leave the cursor over the ok button that way I can just click through I find it easier then reaching up for the f6 button. I have only had a time loss once it was round 3 of a tournament game and we were playing control so it was a super long game. Annoyed me because I was attacking for the win as the timer went off.

I have been playing online and I am having a super hard time with sideboarding I think because I play a against a different deck everytime I play. I have only lost to an enchantment deck tonight so I added some enchantment hate but I really dont know what is the best for online metagame. Any suggestions?

Wouldn't be my whole collection because I'll still play legacy online. Thanks for the info though I'll def. Keep capefeargames in mind if I decide to pull the trigger on it.

Thanks for the sideboard help guys I figured with better muligan's and more aggro base I dont need the Brainstorms though I love drawing cards especially when I can dump my hand so easily. I played eldrazi post with FoW and won both games with Tezz after he used FoW on my Plating and MoE. I think he is useful even in aggro type. It was 2 T4 wins with Tezz and my oponent said Emrakul was coming out next turn both times.

I've been playing Afinity lately testing a couple different lists. I am a huge fan of Tezz in Standard and Extended and it just felt like a great fit for this deck then I saw that Tezz list so I tried that out. Before I was playing UBR, I feel like the deck needs more draws so I added brainstorm and have liked it so far. I have a problem with elf/eldrazi ramp though not sure whats a good sideboard here. I was playing mtgo tournament practice last night and had him dead to rights on turn 3 but his turn 3 he went off with an emrakul finisher.

I've recently gotten a little bored with playinging standard and extended online. I started playing legacy and I think it's great because legacy is cheaper online and I was thinking maybe I'm missing out on the social interaction of playing magic. It's been 11 years since I've played with actual cards but I do miss sitting across from someone you can chat with while you play. So I know I can change in my full sets but what if I want to trade some of my mythics and staples but don't have a full set to trade in. Is there a site that converts cards for you like going from paper to online or is my only option to sell cards online and then buy paper singles to replace them?

are the trolls worth it you think? glissa too? artifacts dont usually end up in the graveyard when im playing (except maybe a 5/5 dying here and there), and recurring the artifacts in my yard is almost always not needed so i cut all of the glissas without hesitation).

i'd go -2 glissa for sure.

    maybe -2 trolls

and -1 piston sledge for sure also.

that frees up 3 slots for IoK, -1 preordain for the 4th?

I was testing this and I cant remember my final list but first thing I did was -2 trolls, -1 glissa, -1 piston sledge, +4 lotus cobra, +1 jace, -1 garruk. No birds, -3 doom blade for +3 go for the throat. Turn 3 sword equip is great when you get the draw but it didnt seem like a tezz deck and most of the time tezz didnt help too much. Needs more artifacts I think.

My decklist as of right now. It changes about everyday but this seems to work pretty well. may move day of judgement to sideboard for everflowing chalice or another ramp card.

I played with no jace for a long time because I didnt think he was necesarry after initial testing but last night put him back in and took out the howling mines becuase I figure he does a lot more and he still gives me an extra card every turn but has the ability to protect me and also shuffle cards I dont need back into the deck with all the fetchlands and Tezz. I need to come up with a sideboard so I can test it more seriously. Any help would be great I am kind of new to extended so I dont know what is good sideboard cards right now.

I've been playing this a lot, My protection is tumble magnet and try to cut the spells down a lot. I played with control spells but it just hurt my cantrips and searches with Tezz. My thoughts are that once you start comboing you can win even if it doesnt seem like it. Because once you start drawing and tezzing you will get the cards you need. Even if I dont have tezz on the table and I am going to die next turn I will time sieve because usually with the wellsprings you will draw an open the vaults or something to keep you going and then once you start taking turns just keep taking turns till you win and dont let your opponent get the turn to kill you. I have only been playing online in casual and most people dont play extended so I play classic which most of the time is a harder matchup. I am feeling confident in the decklist so I will start testing in tournament practice. I really need a strong sideboard I think to make it competitive but I would love for it to work well.

Also I have played with and without semblance anvil games are about the same. I think it helps if you can get it out but sometimes I am digging for a card so I dont want to anvil a cantrip and it just sits in my hand. If no anvil then you def. need more acceleration. Also throne of geh is pointless. Used it in testing and its whatever nothing exciting. The point of taking extra turns is to pump your tezz anyway.
