You'll get your reasons. Just not yet.

Also, Laugh @ you calling Axel an easy lynch.
Pfft, I didn't say you'd FOUND one, I just said you're LOOKING for one.

Because I really don't think it matters. I'm full of insane theories as far as Mafia goes, and more often than not, people tell me I'm a ****ty player and then start ignoring me when I present them. .-. (See: Magical Girl Mafia.) In addition, I can't make long posts on my phone because my phone will eat them, and I really don't have time except before work to make large posts - and they usually have to be catchup posts. So in short, it's completely detrimental for me to go into detail as to what I don't like about Axel's posts because I'd rather be listened to than ignored through the game and no one's going to agree with why I'm voting him anyway. It's just a waste of my time. I've expressed why I think he's scum, and if people don't accept that I think his thought process isn't wholesome and natural, then it's an exercise in futility to attempt to break it down further. Let sleeping lions lie, as they say.
    Dear Iso:

Post reasoning for your vote on Axel if you don't want to be ignored. And please don't try to self-meta your way out of this.

Love, WoD, in every game ever that we've both been in and I haven't had a kill available to point your way for incredibly irritating posts just like this one.

In fact, please just post your reasoning anyway. You've been pushing Axel very hard in a rather scummy fashion. Please, tell me there's a reason for that that isn't "Because I am scumIso and I have no reasons other than the fact that I'm looking for an easy lynch".

He was dismissing his overly "Hey I'm town!" attitude by saying that scum wouldn't be able to fake his reaction (which they simply could), and therefore everyone having the same reaction as him would instantly be a townie (again, the "Hey I'm town!") attitude. For me, his assumptions are null.
This is an overly unfair way to phrase this, especially given how he explained earlier.

All Axel is saying, (and to be honest after that explanation I actually think it was a pretty good idea) is that he was basically fishing for initial "townie reactions" to his post, not to "HARD CONFIRM" any player that did happen to respond similarly, but just to basically give them "town points".

While yes, scum do like to get "town points" whenever they can, I can see what he's saying about scum not responding in that way.

While it obviously failed to garner any responses of that type, I respect the thought that was put into it, and I can't see it coming from a scum mindset at all.

So yeah, I won't be joining this wagon anytime soon.

People care too much about the meta, geez.
    Also: This.

Meta is at most marginally valuable against newer players. Experienced players can generally dodge it, or play into it.

This rubs me the wrong way. I don't like it when the instant response is, "META ME! LOOK! GO!"
I find this statement ridiculous, coming from you, Iso.

You're clearly using it as a point against him. Isn't "META ME! LOOK! GO!" generally your default response to everything?

And I don't believe that you didn't read the OP before suggesting your mass colour claim, because however overstated I feel your general skill level is, you're at least reasonably thorough in reading, for the most part.

@Eron - It was indeed a random vote, but I'm pretty happy to leave it on him, after that.

And 5 mafia in a 20+ game is not only likely, it's standard.

It would have to be a ridiculously powerful Mafia team, or a whole snotload of Neutrals, to justify having less than 25% Mafia roles in any game.* Wrath_of_DoG punches myself stoutly on the nose.

    1. 21p with 1 confirmed "sk" leads me to believe 4 mafia team. 5 is only other possibility and it's possible given that's it's a few, but I'll assume 4 for balance reasons.

You are welcome to attempt any of these tactics. At best, they will not provide any benefit; at worst, they may harm your team. You have been warned.

I honestly expected Shark to make it to endgame.

Also, I think this game has sadly shown how Normals have fallen out of favor in our meta. Slant I mean, half of the players weren't even from this site and it STILL had trouble filling up and completing.

Disappointing, really. You all should have given r_0 more of a chance.
I got aggravated by the way our (mason JOAT) roles worked.

It's one thing to say that we have x abilities available that we can still use even if some of us die. Doesn't make sense flavourfully as much, but mechanically it's sound.

But then, to come and say (and only AFTER we already chose our cop target) that each individual person brings abilities to the group, AND that we only get result PMs for the abilities our character brings to the group, yet we STILL have access to the abilities as a group after our character dies, if they were unused?

Well, that makes sense neither mechanically nor flavourfully.

The design of the game seems pretty sound, and I think it could have been a really awesome game, if it had been reviewed more thoroughly, and had a more enthusiastic player base and mod.

Regardless of if you ended up right in the end. Quicklynching off of what was nothing more than a WIFOM argument was idiotic. I could care less if that makes me less enjoyable to play with. People doing absolutely stupid **** like that makes you all less pleasant to play with.
I'm sorry that you feel that way. I play mafia for fun, and sure I'm bad at it, (hence my previous custom tag of "most experienced mafia noob on salvation") but it still seems like you're taking things a bit personally here. I advise you take a step back, and think about whether you'd be reacting this way if you weren't in this game, or at least if you weren't the one that got caught out.

How would you feel if you were in my shoes, and I was yelling about how much an idiot you and the rest of the town were for lynching the final scum, without going into any reasoning for it?

Plus, what I think played a big part in your lynch was that everyone was sick to death of this game and not having enough functioning players for a lynch.

To be honest I wouldn't really have cared if you were town or scum, at that point, but Vitek was a whole load more townie than you were in this game, especially after you counterclaimed him.

Wow, you just quicklynched me off an arguement that was nothing but pure WIFOM. You are all a bunch of idiots.
A bit of friendly advice - that attitude does nothing to help. In fact, it makes you quite unpleasant to play with sometimes.

As I said, it wasn't pure WIFOM, it was a slip by Acionyx. I'd argue that he wasn't actually scum MVP for that very reason. He got you lynched.

And we were right about you, so clearly we aren't actually idiots. Not every good lynch comes from solid analysis - sometimes it comes from scum slips and gut feelings.

Oh, something that irked me was that DV lied about there being a scum Mason.
Yeah, I have no idea what he was thinking.

All I can come up with is that he's pissed that I got him lynched and as such threw the table against the wall.
