I played for a couple of hours at a friend's last night. Zero Suit Samus definitely fits my style of play better than regular Samus does (and her up B recovery is pretty decent if you're anywhere near a ledge). For all the hubbub about Metaknight, I didn't really like him that much, but I didn't have time to figure him out.
The Final Smashes are cool. The first time I got Sheik's, I felt like a tool since I pressed B right away, not knowing what it does. You definitely want to get familiar with what each character does so you can use it well.
We were playing 4 player, and all of us were just messing around with new characters. Given that setting, King Dedede was a house, but he's too slow otherwise.
Do you want a full keyboard? I have a 61 key Casio that's fine; I use it to practice for my keyboarding class...I got it off my friend used, but I think it's around 100 or 150 new.
That was my thinking; the price of the 360 is pretty fixed (though I have the terrible luck of always buying a system right before it gets a price drop...), but HDTV's are just getting cheaper, as they come out with bigger, better ones. But I also see it as a smarter investment to get something that will make my current console perform better, than another system.
I just found on BestBuy.com a Insignia 19" 720p flatpanel with an HDMI port for $250. At that price, I could easily get the TV and a 360. I'd prefer a slightly bigger screen, but adding a mere 3 inches doubles the price, so I could live with this one. Any feedback on the brand? Never heard of them...
We have a 15" Insignia in our dorm. It works...make sure it comes with a remote, though. The universal ones we've tried for our Insignia have been pretty shaky with it, ranging from not working to only using some of the buttons (and not as they're labeled). It's a bit of a hassle. Otherwise, though, it's fine - we mounted it to the wall without any problems and it does everything it says it would, and was pretty cheap. I don't know how long it'll last, but I doubt you're getting a 19" tv for the long haul.
Yeah they might not care but knowing is the big thing they can see what Spider-Man 3 looks like in the glory of Blu-Ray.
If they don't care to buy anymore despite what they see then that is their decision of course.
I'm sure the minimum people will do is watch it unless they despise Spider-Man or something.
I probably wouldn't watch it. Not that I wouldn't get more Blu-Ray movies if I had a PS3, but Spider-Man 3 is easily the worst in the series and just a bad film in general imo. I really wouldn't bank on most people watching it, although just having the movie there should tip most people off as to what the console can do.
I'm pretty sure this has been in development in some form for over a decade. They can release it, or not, whenever they feel like it, any cycle is totally off by now.
Is there a shortage of Wii's across the US? Nobody can find them where I live, and it seems I rmember reading about a supply shortage.
Yeah, and it's unlikely to get any better soon with the holidays and then Brawl. I think it's gotten to the point where Nintendo is diverting units from Japan to the US to help boost supplies here.
Maybe I should also ask: do you think promiscuity is bad? I assume most of you would like to settle down with an ideal soul mate at some point, but in the meantime?
I'm not promiscuous. I'm not going to hate someone because they are, so I guess I don't think it's bad, either, but it's not something I want to do. I have too many emotions for it
Im sure when people were first talking about Halo 1 some were saying oh its not gonna make any big splashes sales wise.
Halo actually got quite a fair amount of press prior to being released. Especially before MS bought Bungie, it was covered along with the other top shooters. A lot of people were pissed when it moved to Xbox. I agree with your general point, though: There's no reason a well-made game that doesn't come from an established franchise can't be successful, providing it gets the coverage needed for sales.

The new Ice Climbers' stage is pretty fun, too.

I mean, I kinda think they did.
I'm in the market for one, preferably one that spent some time in an SUV. Do we match?

Yeah, but oh well...Plenty of fish in the sea and so on. What makes you say that?

So this applies to the mods making mistakes but not the members?
I realize MD at least has a lengthy list of mistakes, so the reaction is more understandable, but seriously, both groups were rude.
